Ive got a north facing hall, stairs and landing. I want to do my woodwork darker and love Elephant’s Breath - what lighter colour would you suggest for the walls to make it nice and cosy feeling?
Love elephant's breath for a trim colour, ideally something a couple shades lighter will work best - look at School House White, Pointing and Wimborne White (the lightest) - all have warm undertones so will create that cosy feeling :)
I have bright white in my kitchen for the panelling. It looks beautiful. It is broken up with a blue wallpaper but I agree it can look clinical. I do love a warm white as I’m into the country home look. I love farrow and ball colours, and little green have some great colours with great coverage as well. Me and Deluxe don’t agree. Deluxe is to simple and there’s no depth in the colours. I find premium paints offer depth to their paints.
That sounds gorgeous! It definitely works when split up with other colours which it sounds like you've done perfectly. I totally agree, F&B is a total dream to paint with as well, the coverage is second to none.
If you want a blue, I'd go for something lighter in tone as a dark blue in a dark hallway will swallow the light and make it feel super dark. Coastal Grey is lovely or Mineral Mist, I have some other blue suggestions here that might help; www.sleek-chic.co.uk/2023/04/dulux-blue-colour-chart.html
