Thanks to your suggestion with the carrot cake cookie, my daughter decided that was the only snack she wanted on her birthday. We were at Hollywood Studios on her birthday and waited in line to get in. The cast member heard it was her birthday and went over and got her the cookie and told her happy birthday. Then my daughter took her first bite and told us she had gone to heaven and she was not sharing. 😂 Thank you!!!
I don't plan on going to Disneyland or Disney world in the future but I find AJ's voice to be super calming and nice to listen to whenever I'm drawing!
That's not being cheap. lol But unless it's a one time dream vacation for the kids. There are a lot of options off property, and then just enjoy some Disney treats.
AJ: Avoid eating at noon and 6pm, because that's when most people will have lunch and dinner Portugal, where normal meal times are at 1pm and 8pm: THIS IS MY TIME TO SHINE
Took me a while to get used to my partners Portuguese family eating so late! I was starving by 5pm and I’m waiting another 3-4 hours when we eat at theirs 😅
You should do a video specifically about quick breakfasts, because for many, you don’t want a big sit down breakfast meal, and would prefer to grab a quick snack on the way to the parks
Earl of Sandwich at Disney Springs is where it’s at. Sandwich will cost you $8 drink a few extra bucks. But it’s free fountain soda refills and the sandwiches are fantastic. I always get “The Original” it’s a hot sandwich, toasted bun, seasoned roast beef with a horseradish sauce. The horseradish sauce is extremely mild in the horseradish, they probably mixed some in Mayo. It’s a great sandwich. My wife likes the Montegue
Splitting the pretzel bites from Wetzel's with plastic cheese is a favorite snack for my mom and me. They're always crisp on the outside but fluffy on the inside.
Would you guys be able to do a video focusing on Kosher or Halel foods? It would be helpful for your subscribers who can’t eat pork:) almost ever video has several pork offerings in it on a best of list and that can be frustrating and isolating sometimes.
AJ, me and hubby love watching. Too many possibilities for FL residents. Thank you for keeping us updated. Hubby is mad, because he doesn’t know where to start. Love DFB!!!
When she mentioned the Peanut Butter Pie, that made me think of a question: right now, on the app, it says you can't mobile order from the Contemporary quick service places if you're not staying there, but does that mean that you can't get food from Contempo Cafe at all without staying in the resort, or you can still eat there, you just can't use the mobile order?
No, you don't have to stay there. Just press ok on the app until they let you order. Got the Peanut Butter Pie and the Monorail Cupcake this past Sunday. They even let me park at the Contemporary when I showed the food order.
Hey Aj can you give us some information on how to handle the rain? What rides and activities can we do in each park. What to wear, are umbrellas or ponchos better?
The Holiday Turkey sandwich at Earl of Sandwich was the best sandwich I ever had. I had it in 2019 for the first time, and I still think about it at least once a week. Can’t wait to have it again the next time we go to Disney.
We stayed at the Contemporary in 2019 and on AJ's suggestion, we tried Contempo Cafe and loved it. So much so, that we ate there 4 times in 8 days. However, for some reason, it seems to get bad reviews...
We are leaving Kidani Village today after staying here for the week! Absolutely loved it and Sana is amazing! I didn’t get the bread but I did get the burger and it is absolutely amazing and the chips are out of this world
After our holiday was cancelled last year (and may not be rescheduled 😢) watching these videos is bittersweet- think I’ll need to try and make the cheeseburger baos myself!
I just had them for the first time 2 days ago because I'd heard great things. I was so disappointed. There was a strange aftertaste and some of the meat was so fatty and chewy I had to spit it out.
I can't say any food at WDW is food. I go to there and eat one quick stop. I don't stop for pop corn, nuggets, corn dogs, none of it. I don't eat at Wolfgang, Beast, Cindy Castle. I have yet to see one meal that was worth eating let alone pay for.
Was at Disney last week and stay away from Crystal Palace for dinner. The food was horrible and the claimed prime rib was actually not prime rib. It’s a New York roast. The pork chop was not bad but the meal is a bit over priced for what you get there. The Gideon’s cookies at the springs is a two hour virtual queue list then a est 2 hour wait line there. You may wait and not get cookies as they would sell out before the line ends. FYI they are not all that. Save your money and time.
What happened to the egg rolls at Magic kingdom? My favorite snack at Disney World is still Dole Whip. So yeah I would totally be into that pineapple cream cheese spring roll.
Have you made a video for low carb dieters? Like places you can get a sandwich without bread? Maybe a person can eat everything on a crazy burger but not the bun. Is there an option on mobile order to say no bun? Best place to just get meat & veggies?
Love your channel! I’ve been watching for the last two years. Really wish you would take a stand on a living wage for Disney workers. I’d love to hear your opinion on this.
My family went to D-Luxe. While I liked my plant based burger, the rest of my family wasn't impressed with their meaty burgers. I think they were the BBQ ones.
This is very helpful, as I am in the middle of planning a trip! I do have a question though. Can you presently access QS locations in the hotels if you are not staying at the resort? AJ mentioned the Contrmpo Cafe, so I am assuming you, can, but it is a big help to know for sure!
Sorry AJ, but those cheeseburger pods don't taste like any cheeseburger I have ever had. ( Unless it came from the high school cafeteria ) . They are nothing but dough with a little bit of meat. No flavor what so ever. I had to go and find some ketchup packets just to give it some taste.
I wish she did a video like this without Disney springs because a lot of people don’t go there. We are only going to be in the parks for 2 days and it’s for the first time. Then we are hopefully getting on a Disney cruise.
For a different point of view, we are so glad DFB includes Disney Springs, because we never used to go there… but now we love several places there and go there when we can, thanks to DFB!!
I want to buy some of your guidebooks before our trip in January/February 2022. When’s the best time to get the most up-to-date info and get them in time for our trip?
