Hi everyone, welcome to my backyard again! I'm so taking advantage of this beautiful weather here in SoCal- we can't go out but if you have a backyard I highly recommend spending time outside with your family! This recipe was inspired by the fish tacos I eat EVERY TIME I go to Ensenada, Baja California. The cajun seasoning is my personal twist- I hope you guys enjoy! I promise you're going to love it... I think i ate all 3... time to go back on keto lol if you are on keto currently avoid the tortillas and make your self a bed of the cabbage salad with the fried fish on top and the avocado salsa + lime!
Recipe:
3 lbs Tilapia or Mojarra
1-2 tbsp Mustard (preference)
1 tbsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
1 tbsp Garlic powder
Batter:
2 cups flour
1-2 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp Black Pepper
2 tbsp Garlic Powder
2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
1 1/4 beer (or you can replace 1/4 beer with mineral water if you do not want too much beer in your batter)
Avocado Salsa:
6 chile serranos
1 Avocado
1 tbsp chicken bullion or salt (optional)
1/2 water
