I have to say I went this past Feb and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the wizarding world food was. We did the plowmen’s fish and chips and some pasties. They were all phenomenal.
Mac n’ cheese is actually from France, it was a popular snack over there long before Thomas Jefferson brought it over to the states. And traditionally it’s baked in a “macaroni crock” rather then boiled in a pot on the stove.
Loved the video! It was awesome. I agree that fish and chips is the best. One of the restaurants has a nice chicken sandwich. Also it’s a must to get a frozen butter beer! I think I’m going to take a drive down and go get some.
My experience with the rosemary potatoes at both the leaky cauldron and three broomsticks for breakfast is that they were terribly undercooked! The fish and chips is delicious!
I really enjoyed the turkey leg and potato wedges (french fries)... but y'all talked me into the fish and chips for my next trip at the end of this month!
Why do I torture myself by watching these?! My husband and I hope to have our honeymoon there. We may be able to afford it by our 5th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, my husband also has to lose around 100 pounds before he can fit on the rides.
I'm thankful to have a job that allows me to work remotely and an annual pass (which paid for itself in three days) to go anytime which provides me with a discount on food. It's not "nothing". It's all planned out and hard work to be able to "casually go". :) I love being able to help other people experience this magical place.
I wonder if I was working that day. I'm glad you all enjoyed the food! I like hearing people's thoughts from the UK on the authenticity of the food. Thanks for doing this video!
That was awesome. Love the 3 broomsticks. That’s where I had the fish and chips for lunch too, and my very first cold butterbeer. All that looked so good. When I go back, I so want to try all the butterbeer flavoured foods. Cheers Peter
Obviously I'm having a Potter Collector marathon! Lol. I would have to agree the fish and chips are so good! I love the fish, it's delicious! I have yet to try any of the desserts or sweets since I've been busy trying all the drinks from The Hopping Pot! I've tried the Otter's Fizzy Orange Juice, the Fishy Green Ale, the Peachtree Fizzing Tea, & of course the frozen and cold Butterbeer :) I still have to try the Tongue Tying Lemon Squash! There is just so much to do!
Everything looks so good! We eat Keto in our house, but for our vacation in Sept, I am 100% looking forward to ditching our health plan and eating everything HP lol
All the food looks good, even though I am vegetarian and there are a lot of meat in the dishes there, it makes me doubt that there is much options for vegetarians. It’s great there are some British foods there. Noticed there’s no haggis lol! I noticed the plates and bowls the food is served in are plastic? Not good. What is the song called that plays while showing the outside and inside of the Three Broomsticks????
It's called Shetlands. And no, no haggis. lol! There are not many options listed, however, they will work with guests to come up with substitutes for meats.
*•. .•* unfortunately yes, it is all served on plastic. we try to live waste free, but during our 3 days in the studios (and our time in the in the US in general) we've produced so much plastic waste, it's horrifying.
My favorite food was the fish and chips but the ribs and chicken were delicious as well. I never tried the butterbeer ice cream but if I ever make it back it will be on my list
I'm so grateful for this video! I have always (well, twice) ordered the chicken platter at the Three Broomsticks, which I love, but I want to try something new when I go next week. Fish and Chips is my Leaky Cauldron go-to, so I'm thinking maybe this time I will try the Shepard's Pie at the Three Broomsticks, based on your recommendation.
Vegetarians can't eat much. LOL I still eat fish, so I had the fish and chips, and I thought that it was good, not great, but ok-good. The Pumpkin fizz was too sweet, but it was good, I really like it. I'm sad that Orlando restaurants don't do much about the amount of waste they produce each day. Why The Three Broomstick don't use real dishes? What about all that plastics plates? :(
Wait, what? You just said that we can talk to a staff member about our diet and they can offer us options? I did that, but the guy didn't offer me anything except a salad with sauce or a soup, that's it LOL.
There's also something called a veggie platter. You can pick 3 items from the sides menu except the fruit cup but you can pick mac n cheese as an option.
I have never been but am making plans for the future with family. But I will be trying the fish and chips first then the ribs. After that would probably be there chicken. But for sure trying the Apple pie with the butter beer ice Cream. Love the video💙 Thank you for inspiring us to keep collecting 🖤💚
The fish and chips and the pasties look so good. Do you know the history of the pasties? They were actually made by miners wives. They could stay hot for a while so the miners wives made these for them. If you get the chance to go to Phoenix AZ, go to the Cornish Pasty Co.
You won’t be disappointed! I visited family and we went there and were told this info! I also suggest if you are traveling with someone or meeting someone there to both get a different pasty. That way you could try two lol! Or just have another mukbang! Lol 😂
We first went to the WWoHP in 2010 and it’s become our family’s vacay spot. We discovered the apple pie late in the game, and now we love getting it. Enough to share, all nice and warm, and the price is so reasonable!
I like your show but seriously, the food at the Three Broomsticks will never justify the LOOOOONG lines (even in January, they're long) and steep prices. If I ate there three times over a 4-day vacation, it would cost $65. That's too much and the food doesn't look that great.
Hey thanks! :) Looks can be deceiving. It's seriously delicious. Referring to lines, I have never waited more than 5-10 minutes in a line for The Three Broomsticks. Normally I walk right to the order counter. With tax, it would cost closer to $45-50 for eating there three times.
If all of the food is reasonably British.... do they have ketchup and ranch dressing.....? Do they have those in Britain? If not they are missing out I think....
Love the Scottish music cause yeah Hogwarts and Hogsmead supposed to be in the Highlands 😁✨🙌 was there just last week is AMAZING! Definitely an amazing road trip
Yum! Let me know next time you go I fly for free - :) I always go with downers! I need some potter fans to go with! On my way to LA next week to check out their Harry Potter land!
I wasn't hungry when I started watching this, but I had to pause this to get a snack. I love the ambiance of The Three Broomsticks! Thanks for all the videos!
I live in FL and frequent HP world yearly, last time was the first time I got to go to The Leaky Cauldro cause they're usually sooo busy, and it was delicious! I can't wait to go back and try the 3 broomstick. It really is such an experience. Thanks for reviewing Peter!
I'm actually really surprised that the fish and chips is one of the best meals. I'm from New England and I've always heard that seafood in the south (especially Florida) is awful haha. Hopefully I'll be able to try The Three Broomsticks' fish and chips for myself one day!
I was sooo excited when I got to Hogsmeade, the butterbeer was good but very heavy I got kind of bored of mine when not even at the middle of drink. The desserts were sooo goooooood, and the chicken was good as well. Loved it. Definitely want to come back someday even if it is really expensive haha.
