It actually says "Memory is full" if I do remember but they changed it to "The save file is ok". The problem with these type of cartidges is the fact that they consume more battery and they could make the GBA turn off when they're saving and that could cause the save file to corrupt and well, everything will be gone

The Message “The Save File is Ok” actually proves it’s a bootleg DO NOT BUY IT!!! The ROM of Pokémon being used in the Cartridge is actually a Bootleg when it says The Save File is Ok it actually Proves it is a Bootleg in which in the Original Pokémon GBA Games it doesn’t state that Message so it’s definitely a Bootleg ROM using Different Messages.

Trading doesn't work when you have a copied version of Pokemon for GBA. You can play the game, but you can't transfer or trade Pokemon.

You should have tried removing the cart then put it back in the GBA then try to see if the game save on Pokemon was still there.

I have noticed some bootleg carts will save when you reset. But they may not save for long periods of time without power or when the cart itself gets removed. Just thought it may be worth mentioning.

for the NES titles, can you press L+R at the same time? that usualy brings up the menu for PocketNES which is the emulator they use most of the time.

If you don't know most of the glitchy and strange games are bootlegs of NES games. This is very common with multicarts.

It's worth it JUST for the Pokemon games that can save since 1 actual retro Pokemon game usually goes for $35-50. Great video.

I just got this game a few days ago and I love it. Lots of games ill never play but the Pokemon seem to work fine as does mario kart advance and mario vs donkey kong.

FireRed didn't give you a battery save error message because GBA games don't save using an internal battery R/S/E use one for the clock, but most GBA games, FR/LG included, have none.

Easy answer. The best cart you can get is the EverDrive GBA X5. Much newer than the EZ Flash IV or SuperCart and supports a lot more functions (such as the clock for Pokemon).

Usually, in a thing like this, you can't pass the ending credits, I've own one blablabla in 1 games, and the game keep corrupt whenever i pass di e4 and the credits roll

If you want nice cases for GB/GBC/GBA games, the best ones are from Custom Game Cases. Look them up, you won't be disappointed by the quality. I have my whole collection done with those cases.

Thanks for reviewing. I would have bought it if it had more GBA games on or I could actually change them - if it has a micro SD card inside you should be able to pop it in a reader and change the ROMs on your PC. As I have a similar cart with about 4 GBA Mario games and the squashed screen NES emulator I'll pass. Worth getting if you want to play a few NES games on the go 👍😎

I ordered this same exact cartridge and it took about 3 weeks or so to arrive from China. Didn't come with the case but that's ok. I only paid like $15 for it and it does have a good number of games included and you might be able to put in your own games because it uses some kind of NES emulator inside because there's Excitebike, Double Dragon, Ninja Gaiden, etc inside and you can get to the menu of the NES games by pressing L and R at the same time.

I got this cart last week (along with the hilarious Marioland DX from the last video). I think the first dozen games or so are GBA games, but the rest are NES games (either mechanical ports, or emulated), and the graphics are a bit messed up (like text on "The pipe Mario") because the NES screen is scaled to fit into the GBA resolution.

The true test would be Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald to see if the clock keeps working. Does the cart have a watch battery on it? Looking at the loading message on the Fire Red I would guess not.

Well that was Double Dragon 3, and you got it missing on the DD menu. So it was not repeated.

I've actually owned this exact multicart for quite a while, I actually bought mine of amazon, its actually not a bad little cart, saving seems to work through all the games, there's pretty much all the Mario and pokemon GBA games as well as one or two good NES games, although some of the NES games don't work, if anyone has any questions about this cart just ask!

1. I'm 100% sure the games save, I've had this cartridge for 2 perhaps even 3 years and it still consistently works and saves 2. I think so, check the included games list and if enough of the games jump out to you get it 3. A vast majority of the games do work, thats not speaking for the quality of the games however, there are a few good NES games on there though, so keep that in mind, as for how many are actual GBA games, probably about 17, but I'd estimate probably out of all the games 350 work

Btw some people say eventually your game save will corrupt Idk if that's true but I still believe you that your save is working but I think for most people it doesn't so your lucky :p

1. This particular multicart has some NES games built in, if you wanted to play any NES games other than that as far as I can tell you'd need a multicart and an emulator called PocketNES, however there may be another way I don't know of 2. Overall should you buy it? well I'd say yes probably, considering how much you get for how little, and its not massively expensive so its not a huge risk, I'd say pick it up personally 3. As for the corrupted save games? I can't see any reason why this would occur, considering modern flash card technology and all

Just a warning, I bought a bootleg emerald version about 6 years back thinking it was real and I got the save file is ok message as well. Like 2 gym badges in I turned on my game and it said my save file was corrupted. I went to see what happened and my file was gone.

The Retro Future you know that glitch in 1-2 at the end of the level that lets you get through the bricks into the pipes before they load, and let's you access the secret underwater level? I'm pretty sure that level is just that forever since the original level was endless.

Got multicart like this back then, played sapphire, Ruby, and emerald on the same cartridge. The problem is after defeating elite 4 in emerald the save file goes corrupt. Just stick with emulator or ez flash to ensure that your save file will be fine.

When I was a kid, my parents bought me Pokémon HeartGold when it came out... years later, I traded it in (for about $3) because I didn’t think it would work in my 3ds xl and... I’m not someone who regrets, but definitely a major regret because now I can’t get it back without paying hundreds of dollars😭

customgamecases.com sells gba blank shells that are a little different but close to this. Looks like they are currently out of stock or discontinued? You can spot it on the main page as it scrolls through the products but when u look at the gba case nothing pops up.

Goto the app 'GEEK' aka Wish, it has EVERYTHING on it. This games on it I'm pretty sure. Theres covers for NES n SNES n MD etc so I wouldn't b suprised if they have them. I just had a quick look for ya and couldn't find one but still if u havn't been on there its great. They have shells of every old Gameboy, third party carts n systems, arcade parts etc. Endless crap. They sell so much good crap but they have 8Bitdo on there so they sell some good stuff too. What is good? I'll shutup now. Nice review m8!

Looks like that cart only came with a handful of actual Advance games; the rest are emulations of NES games, bad emulation at that. Considering Megabits to Megabytes (Since I doubt that cart has 2 Gigabytes on it), it has some 256 MB of storage, Enough to hold a handful of actual Advance games. Most of that storage is going towards the Pokemon and Super Mario Advance games, no doubt- since NES games take up digital pennies of space, it would be easy to fill the rest of the cart with a bucket of less-than-good NES roms and emulators. As for the battery saves in Pokemon, my guess is some kind of romhack that changes the save type into one that can be stored on the cart itself, and not in a battery. Probably finicky, but honestly neat to see on a little 8 dollar multicart.

I have one it is very much worth the money and saves the games but there are some repeats but there are so many non repeated games that it is very much worth the 10 dollars
