I played literally all of the demos and these are the best. I'm happy to be of service in your game discovery endeavors. Don't settle for anything less.
@@AbbreviatedReviews Give it time. This is definitely subject matter people are interested in, and the quality of your content is exactly what this space needs. There might be ways to game the algorithm but otherwise I think it's only a matter of time before you get a viral video. Just hang in there and know that you are loved.
It definitely takes a bit of a different approach to the formula, but I think it feels more interesting than the standard cover-focused overwatch-heavy design a lot of these tactical games take emulating XCOM. Those are good too, most of the time, but it's good to see some variety.
You came to the same conclusions as I did, so you must be cool. Sub for you! Megacopter is the bomb and I can not wait for the full release of Aero GPX.
If you played all demos why didn't mention Soulitaire, Dungeon & Degenerate Gamblers and Parcel corps that were among the best demos of this fest? 🧐 Jokes aside once again a good coverage of best games in Steam Next Fest 👍
I did actually play Parcel Corps and thought it was pretty decent, but about the 30th time I got hit by a car I had to stop playing. I also thought Dungeon & Degenerate Gamblers was great, but it seemed like there were a lot of mechanics and details I needed to dedicate more time to checking out and I was already trying to get this video out. I'm definitely going to check it out down the line though.
I tried it when it first came along and it was a little clunky but I liked the concept. I'm glad to see the progress they've made on it with this demo.
I appreciate the reviews. I would add Fallen Aces, Mirthwood and The Crush House. There were a few on your list that I missed - will check them out tonight! Just subscribed... I love your rule! Thanks
I played the Fallen Aces demo a while ago, though I don't remember if it was in a Next Fest video or not. Of course, the demo was taken down when the game launched, but I do plan on picking it up sometime soon because it's a good time. I've heard some good things about The Crush House though and I might check that one out.
@@AbbreviatedReviews I can't believe how much I fell for Crush House (if pressed, I would say 2008 Dead Space is my favorite video game of all time). The end of the demo definitely sets up intriguing things to come. I was shocked when I saw it requires 100 GB. Thanks again!
These Next Fest roundups are always a good time. Now I can still help out by wishlisting games even though I still haven't gotten around to playing the three demos I downloaded.
