So glad the Switch gets so many ports - modern, too, but especially Classics. I know they're not always priced as cheaply as they could be, but availability is part of what makes games timeless.

This series is now starting to be a cathartic part of my daily routine! Pikmin 1 and 2 needed to be on the switch, so every Nintendo fan had a chance to play them, and they look and play so darn good! Recommend them to everyone! Cheers for bringing us the 7th day, gents!

The No Man’s Sky and Borderlands ports are really good. I haven’t played Borderlands 3 on switch but I’m glad it’s an awesome port

I have NMS on multiple platforms at this point and I truly do enjoy it. I love the planets that have like a Lorax theming in the colour pallets. Though I still don't know what to actually do in the game lol

Not sure about my favorite remaster that's currently available, probably metroid prime, but I hope they do more zelda remasters in 2024. Ocarina of time and majoras mask would be nice.

Keep up the good work had to sell my switch due to no Time to pay and cost of living etc but still watch the channel and adding games to the back catalogue for when I buy a switch again missing out on some good games 👍

I'm super excited that Outer Wilds is finally on Switch. I tried to play it on PlayStation and I just could not with the controller. It will be so much less frustrating with the pro controller that I am used to!

You guys a great. Thanks for making these videos each day. As to which were my favourite ports - loved the pixel remasters of 4, 5 6. Only managed to complete 6 and start 5 but it confirmed to me just how wonderful these are, especially the music. The QOL improvements helped with the random battles and progression a lot. I’d love a full FF6 remake, though. Metroid was my first time playing it as I never had the Cube. What a game. I have to admit that I looked at a walkthrough a few times when stuck. It’s so atmospheric. Cheers guys!

I play No Man's Sky on console and Switch and there's really not much difference.. Its pretty crazy getting a game this big to run so well 👏

Don't know what it's like on other consoles these days, I played the launch version on PS4 and got back into the game on switch earlier this year. Played for over 100 hours, but the last 50 or so hours were getting increasingly annoying. Sometimes the game would crash three times in a row within half an hour. Sometimes even within 5 minutes of playing. Couldn't do freighter missions for a while since talking with the NPC caused crashes consistently after a point. Not to mention abandoned freighters, crash straight after completing one. The switch really has a hard time with this game. Am I the only one?

your review of nier automata being a 'miracle port' was what actually drove me to finally purchase it on the switch!! im very careful with what i buy so physical releases are usually a skip for me but i loved what i was seeing for automata that i /had/ to get a physical copy with a beautiful sleeve LOL

My favorite ports of the year are the Final Fantasy I-VI pixel remasters, Ghost Trick, We Love Katamari and Persona 4 Golden. I've wanted all of these to come over for a long time.

I picked up the Batman: Arkham Trilogy last week, despite having finished Asylum and City on the Xbox 360 when they originally came out. I never played Knight though. Many gaming channels/outlets have been lambasting the package, particularly Arkham Knight due to its performance issues. Some have labelled it "unplayable" which is, in my opinion, a little hyperbolic. The Batmobile sections are indeed rough, especially instances where you need to give chase. Negotiating winding streets in hot pursuit is a headache with the game hiccuping and even pausing for a moment at times. But with some patience, they are doable. Everything else about the game is excellent, and the Rocksteady Batman we all know and love, refined to the umpteenth degree. It's a little bittersweet hearing Kevin Conroy voice the Dark Knight though given his passing a little while back. He will always be Batman to me!

It's good to hear the name Feral Interactive come up - they were behind the very good GRID Autosport Swtich port. It /does/ lose a little in the transition by not having analog triggers for gas and brake but it still controls very well. It also, interestingly enough, has 3 graphics modes - quality, performance, and battery saver, which is a nice addition.

I played remnant 2 on ps5 in co-op with a mate this year and it was superb. Final boss nearly sent us over the edge though, not sure I can go back for more punishment in the original!

I’ve got honestly say that a couple standout ports (for me at least 😂 but I know they were all well received) we got this year has to be Grim Grimoire (my number one personally since I’m just a diehard Vanillaware fan), the Etrian Odyssey Collection (cause i totally love dungeon crawlers and we FINALLY got the 3rd game), Baten Kaitos 1 & 2 (i mean come on these are classics!), Atelier Marie (technically a remake 😊 even though you guys DID say that counted buuuuuuut we did also get the original which was a japan exclusive as a port so that definitely counts 🎉), Ghost Trick (gotta show Shu Takumi love & support, I would be so hyped for more games from this genius!) and honestly now that I think it over more there’s just way too many to name (man 2023 was a beast! 😅 I understand now why you couldn’t jam more games into your video without bloating it out of proportions so props to you blokes for managing to narrow it down to your favs honestly ❤

I've been eagerly awaiting an in-depth review and performance analysis of Outer Wilds. The consensus so far is that it has some performance hiccups, but not enough to negatively impact enjoyability of the gameplay. I'm really hoping it works out well on switch since my PC wouldn't be able to do much better than a decent switch port.
