@@JB-sl5fu on twitch, you need a PTC (Pokemon trainer club) account (not even need to be linked to your actual Pogo account) and link that to twitch, then you watch worlds tomorrow for 30 minutes and you recieve a code as a drop.
If they are featuring mienfoo, my guess is that means they will give mienshoa force palm in the next move update. It still doesn’t make it great (17-25 against GL meta), but useable and could be good in some cups. If you find a decent one I wouldn’t toss it
It won’t be meta unless it gets a coverage move being solely fighting moves won’t give it any affect whatsoever esp with bulkier types that resist its moves like medi and annihi
Force Palm is also just a bad fast move it’s like DT VS DB you’d want the faster fast move in majority of PvP situations so giving FP would just be worse unless they nerf counter which is highly doubted counter should be the preferred move it gets
Well.. scuba diving Pikachu isn’t meta either but it’s pretty obvious why it’s there? I think same goes for Mienfoo, for one reason or another it’s kind of mascot Pokemon for PvP, afaik it’s been mostly ever available as PvP reward and it’s getting a shiny release now. Look for same treatment for Falinks next year.
right, it’s mostly because of the shiny release. also, so people who don’t play PvP has something to do because these are pretty random pokémon that people wouldn’t care too much about, otherwise for collecting or Raid battling, or stardust or XP. i thought the whole tone of the video would have been “isn’t it great that there’s a PvP-focused event for us, go catch!” because this is literally a battle weekend promoting GO battles in World Championships. almost condescending that he was surprised this event as useful to him? they probably have better PvP usage statistics than we do. of course we should find a PvP-focused event with lower IV encountered PvP rewards useful, that’s the point.
Mienfoo was originally released as a GBL encounter only. It now has its shiny release and it also might get Force Palm next season (less than 1 month away)
please remind everyone that if you NEED a sabeleye with Return, DO NOT TM frustration away. You can purify it, double move, and then TM the second move and NOT frustration
Lickitung, Mankey, beldum, marill, fletching, carbink, all I need tons of XL for and want to hoard to guarantee XL trade... And I have like 50 storage spots available. Hoo boy. And I can only have one mega at a time anyways so gonna have to prioritize.
Yes, the reason is because return will be neutral in almost every situation, the exception being ghost types where its resisted. The same can not be said about power gem (the only other option because sableye has a small move pool)
1:36 I didn't. Do I have to use an elite tm? What time can I use the tm to forget the move frustration? I'm not familiar with it but I know I have a lot of mons that need to lose that move.
You can't right now. It's only during the teamrocket takeover events (usually) that happen once a season. The next one is next season at some point. Elite charged tm's you can't use normally. During this event, normal charged tms remove frustration like a team rocket takeover.
Meinfoo is much better then people give credit especially when it gets force palm... Ofc it's not the best it's not meta but it can get the job done. I found a rank1 mankey built it n double moved it am happy for sure now need rank 1-3 for gl
That’s the thing they are garbage! They are not good for PvP 10-10-10 if they were 0-15 okay but they are not! That’s just shows how much Dan plays PvP against the rest of the game!!
@@d_smittymane1443 carbink with 10,15,15 I'd good or BB and have 4-5atk Mankey needs a no hp high Def and low to mid hp like 0-1 l, 14-15 and 5-9hp Best off checking swaptips deep dive series
I am super excited for beldum Comm day on Sunday because I missed the original and thos event will be good to grind afterward. I'm looking to build up my Master League premier roster with anniliape, metagross, and gardevoir and whatever else I can get xls for.
I don’t understand why Dan talks about raids when the Base IVs is 10-10-10 they are not good for PvP IVs! It could be that he is lost track how things work in the rest of the game!??
