The Sd.Kfz.234/4 is one of the more vicious TDs in War Thunder's German tank tech tree. It is also known as the Pak Puma. It's fantastic, but the teams are less so.

I play this mostly in 5.7-6.0 games where I face fewer KV tanks and it tends to find more targets it can pen at that BR rather than at the heavy-tank-infested 4.7 range.

Yeah i got my firdt nuke with puma while playing 7.3 match and i was uptiered to 8.0 at that br nothing has armor so puma can one shot everything

It's rather typical for many players. For example, I liked to watch Viper videos about Age of Empires 2. The contrast between very high skill and genuine MISTAKES which feel like "last 2 brain cells" moments is a cool spice.

They did something to the traction of all wheeled vehicles. I tried taking out my mg puma with the black camp but it immediately got bogged down and was only cruising at 30 kmh on a roadway.I noticed they also have some serious jitters now. Like I’m constantly on a jagged bumpy road even when it’s flat terrain.

Yesterday with the M13 MGMC if that counts as wheeled. I was supporting my team against CAS and then they melted. Road would not let me get out of Dodge when I realized I was now on point.

Until one plane is in the air and like most open tops becomes useless. Because Gajin thinks planes are a ground vehicle. Plus the 20mm puma isn't even that op now considering they nerfed it into the ground.

it seems like Gaijin's plan to combat complaints about Russian bias has been to add top tier Russian tanks to other trees like Sweden and now the UK, which only adds to the confusion, and I think SB is now the only game mode with somewhat historical teams, although only few players play it with tanks, since it's harder and a lot slower paced. I guess you could try it at least once for completeness sake.

I played top tier SB like a year ago.... and told myself never again. It was like a 8vs8 match and there was 4-5 enemy KA-50s in the air. We couldn't even leave the spawn.

Russian bias for top tier is a result of gaijin rushing to modern vehicles, now russia has the best apfsds round they will ever get, and the only new modern tank they can get is the t90m.

They are just filling every team with cancerous SPAA "tank destroyers" to pander to trash tier players that can't use tanks. Every BR is flooded with W+M1 autocannon garbage and absurdly undertiered tank destroyers with guns that can one shot heavy tanks by just clicking anywhere on them.

I think your error is thinking that Gaijin actually listen to complaints. Look what was needed to get some action on "economy", that effected everyone (although below rank 4 it wasn't such a problem TBH) With everything else the player base is divided, from so called "Bias", to CAS, to maps, to BR splits.... no where near the consensus needed to get any change, so they won't.

Probably one of my favourite TD's in game. Also, (day 27 asking) you should try the Japanese STA1/2/3/Type 61 (they're all kinda the same), decent mobility, good gun and great sight magnification makes them pretty fun to play.

It's always great to see a new video from Spookston! You should try the KV-1S next time, it is classified as a heavy tank, but to me it feels more like a medium tank. It's basically a T-34, but better because it has very fast reverse and trolly armour

Spookston you have to play the Object 268, when you just want to turn off your brain and absorb the enemy shells it's perfect. Plus you get a roof mounted machine gun for taking down planes.

Can you play the TTD? It has no reliable armor, and only 105 mm no machine guns at all at 10.0 it is quite speedy however. Ive never seen one of these things ever in a game and it looks like quite the pain train for whoever is using it.. i think itd be interesting.

I have numerous screenshots of the after death cam following a plane, with the life time timer reading 13 seconds That is hardly enough time to decide where to drive to on the battlefield, much less identify that there are a thousand planes in the air bombing the spawn relentlessly

I personally faver the waffentrager over the pak puma, the slower tank make you play more strategically and its small, have a turret, have 45 degrees of elevation (so you can shoot down those pesky CAS) and above all it has the 88mm kwk43 doom cannon.
