A huge thank you for the reviews - traveling GF is so hard and having places to look forward to is wonderful! We'll be in the Amsterdam area for a couple of days so will definitely check these out.
This is great. Going there in June. I do long for some healthy meals when traveling. Any suggestions??? I love all the options but can only eat so many pizzas, pastries, etc. My metabolism is not what it used to be. HA
I’d really wanted to visit Amsterdam but had assumed eating out as a coeliac there would be difficult. Thank you so much for making this video, I’m really excited to visit there now! Food is such a big part of experiencing a new country and so it is hard to feel like you’re missing out on that, so I really love it when there are gluten free versions of traditional food available! I’ve only just discovered your channel and as a coeliac who also loves travel but gets anxious about the food aspect of it, I’ll be closely following all of your gluten free finds 😁
Wow what a nice message! It really is hard to travel with celiac sometimes, but I am so glad you felt inspired! Amsterdam was definitely a good country to visit :)
Thanks for the great video. I am considering going to Amsterdam and this will be a big help. It’s interesting how Europe seems to be so much more knowledgable about coeliac disease and how to keep us safe. Thanks again from a new subscriber.
Hi Sarah! Thank you so much for this video. I’m visiting Amsterdam for 2 days in February, and I was really nervous about the food because I’m also a celiac diagnosed since 2020. This is my first international trip since I discovered I can’t eat gluten anymore. I’m also spending 5 days in Paris, I was wondering if you’ve been there and if there’s any tips for Paris as well!? Thank you so much again for this video and channel, it definitely will help a lot of people ❤
Hi! Good luck! The first trip is always a little scary, but you got this! Amsterdam is a great city to start off with. I visited Paris last year and ate at so many dedicated GF places. You can find those resources on Instagram and TikTok!
Thank you for this! Last time I went to Amsterdam (in 2019) I hadn’t yet been diagnosed with celiac but was already experiencing bad digestive issues (ate a crepe (with gluten) and had to RUNNNN into a restaurant to use their bathroom😅) When I travel again I want to enjoy my food while still being careful😁
