How do you have the 1660 series on here but not the 5700?

The issue with most of those "big names" on YT basically tell everyone that if you can't afford the 4080/4090/3080/3090/RX7900 you're poor trash. Then they call the mid tier ones like 4060/3050/3060/RX7600 as "bottom tier low end trash".

I got gifted a new RX 6800 as a graduation gift in April that after taxes and all was $410, wish I had waited because prices have been dropping recently lol still an amazing card nonetheless.

i cant get around the fact the 3050 6 gb is higher than the arc a580, like the a580 is a much better deal on the new market. they did preface the choice by saying people wouldnt like it

I own a 4060 ti and despite of all the hate it gets, the card rocks and with 16GB it will be relevant even when all the 8GB cards are made obsolete.

I just found a RX 6800 priced at Best Buy for $349. That's a fantastic price for it.

Matt's original two S-tier choices (RX6600 and RX7900 GRE) are the two (only) cards that I have bought in the past few years. Before that I had an old GTX 1050Ti that I originally put in a budget OptiPlex build back in the day.

i recently upgraded from a 1660 super to a 3060 12 gb ( complete new build) and honestly i’m extremely happy with it

I am surprised that the 5000 series cards are not on this list and the 500 series cards are. I have purchased 6 former mining 5700xts for an average of less than 65 (3 for 70 and 3 for 55) and they only needed pads and paste. I was just gaming with a 5700xt in Fortnite (performance settings with epic distance) and I was getting 450-500fps with a $55 card. The 5700xt is much faster than the 6600xt and can be had for about the same price from a seller that accepts 30 day returns and has great ratings. There are even sellers selling them for $180 on eBay and giving a 1 year warranty.

Ok I get there's tons of cards missing but the 6900xt/6950xt is still a monster of cards an 6900s go for UNDER 400$ on eBay an can beat a 3090 which goes toe to toe with 4070s idk which there's 20 lol but for 300$ less if u don't care about Ray tracing its godly

Ok, couple things. First, i paid $1600 for my 4090, almost exactly a year ago, in europe no less. At the time, 4080's were going for 1300-1450, and 7900xtx's were $1100-$1300. TODAY, the 4070 Ti super is still OVER $1000, and in games like Alan wake II, the 4070ti super will output 65-75 fps (with DLSS) at 4k while the 4090 will do 115-125 (again with DLSS) That's a significant uplift, particularly for those of us who've invested in HRR, HR displays. Second, the 4090 is a professional grade gpu masquerading as a gaming card. It's the difference between spending $5000+ on a quadro card that can sometimes game as well as a 4 year old halo product, or spending $1500-$2000 on the best gaming card on the market that can also get 70% of the performance of that $5k quadro. Do i think the 4090 should be cheaper? Of course, Nvidia's entire stack is overpriced...but it's not as overpriced as most people would like to believe. Nvidia has been selling $700-$1000 consumer grade gpu's for 15 years. A $750 gpu in 2010, is the same as an $1100 gpu today, and a $1000 gpu in 2010 would be the same as paying $1450 today. The 1080ti had a launch price of $699.....and people still stuffed four of the things into their rigs, mostly for benchmarking bragging rights, because the performance uplift might have been double, but certainly far off from 4x, and that's provided it even worked.

I feel good about getting the 1660 ti for $80 today. Thank you for helping me feel good about the deal. 😂

the RX 7900 XT is cheaper ( under $690. ) than the RTX 4070 Ti Super and its faster ( non RT ) yet you rated it higher HAHA oh yeah you are not a fan boy sure because that would be a fan boy move. I went from Nvidia to the RX 7900 XT and I am SO happy i did. Got the card on sale and also had a $50 coupon for $629. Under volted it got another 8% performance ( putting it in striking distance to the RTX 4080 ) and dropped the temps by 4C with fan speed maxed out to 50%, i never see temps over 64C in the hardest stress tests. Card is almost silent. Lets not forget the larger memory bus and 20GB of Vram. People forget about the RX 7900 XT because of how BAD it was at launch. It wasn't a bad card it was just a MAJOR bad value. The prices have fixed themselves now. Like i said i got mine for $629. Can't beat that with a stick.

As someone in the process of figuring out what to buy for a gaming pc, is a 4070 super worth for a $1500-2000 pc budget? Or should I down grade to like a 4060 ti or something different?

I bought an RX 7600 at launch and even though the price to performance was only okay back then, the card has held up wonderfully performance wise and AMD's advances in FSR have only made it better.

3060 12gb in my opinion is a god card, it can run 1440 unlike the 8gb, and for price it shatters 1080

Doing the 6800 dirty, it feels worth 100 dollars more than the 7600. That's a 350 dollar gpu new these days and i see them regularly as low as 320 used. Seems to me like the best deal 4k card. not everyone can afford to be a 7900 gre gamer 😢

I had built my first PC instead of buying one. It took a crap on me not to long ago and I don't have the troubleshooting knowledge to fix it so I sold it. I had an RTX3060 in my build and that GPU was an absolute beast IMO. I was very happy with the price to performance I got with that card. I upgraded from a 2 fan card to a 3 fan card. I would use that card again without a second thought.

i think you should put more value on the pricing of these because no matter how good a 4090 is you can build a whole high end gaming pc for the price of a single gpu in that series and that is criminal.

Got a 3070 last year and it's a belter, got it used for less than £300 and it smokes my old 1060. I have no trouble playing games on pretty high setting and with DLSS im pushing over 80fps in most AAA games. No idea when I'll even need to upgrade at this rate

The tiers can differ depending on the price. I would put the 7800 xt at S tier if the GRE is there. I was able to get mine for close to a 7700 xt/4060ti price. I’ve seen 3060 going for the same price as a 6650xt last year. If that price stayed out, it should be A tier. The GRE is usually within 10% of a 7800xt in performance but costs a fair bit more in my area

It's very interesting to see a ranking of GPUs from you two 🙂 My GPU is a Hellhound 7800 XT, I'm very happy with it. The previous one was an MSi HD 6850 Cyclone, and the jump was really extreme. It's overshot the mark because I don't need the performance yet, and part of it is unused anyway because of my PCI-e 3.0 connection and my old CPU. I actually wanted to buy a smaller card, because from experience I expected that the price-performance ratio would be better with the smaller ones and a graphics card can always be replaced on my own without having to worry about other parts. But that wasn't the case, and these powerful cards had a better price-performance ratio than the smaller ones, and this made it possible to buy one with VRAM reserve as a bonus. Actually, the 7900 GRE would have been a bit better, but it was more difficult to buy here in Germany. I even took the power consumption into account in my considerations, but I had no idea that AMD would take so long to come up with drivers that would reduce consumption when there was little load. It still uses around 70-80 watts when watching RU-vid and that hasn't improved with the newer drivers. At least it doesn't pull it when idle, even my old HD6850 used around 30-40 watts for RU-vid. I think it would have been nice if the consumption at low load, in which the card is usually used, would have decreased. When idle it has around 35-40 watts and my old one has 20 watts.

The current best prices (tax included) for the Arc cards where I live: A380 - $122 A580 - $185 A750 - $260 A770 8GB - $272 A770 16GB - $333 For reference, the RX 6600 - $209, RX 7600 - $263 and RX 7600 XT - $332. IMO it makes the A580 a great deal.

I agree with the RX6400 in B-C tier. Its the only Low Profile Single slot card. Gave some life to my old Optiplex SFF

I'd knock down every single Nvidia card down a tier solely due to their terrible VRAM amount, bus width and pricing. Each and every RTX 4000 series should be $50-100 cheaper than it is - except for the 4090, which would be $300-500 less expensive.

Can I get your opinion on something, I'm think of streaming for multiple things and one channel for each. I want your opinion, Should you get an all in one computer as better option for streamers as a second monitor. It could run stream perfectly like your main and still have a 4k stream maybe. Your game pc can focus only on the game your playing or task your doing. This would allow both to preform better and more efficient. Plus an all in one computer can be cheaper or the same price with a whole system even if it's nerfed version of the full pc graphics card. Finally you can make your pc a game only thing maybe video editing based on the all in one computers specs and your wants/ needs for it.

I'm a little surprised that AMD Radeon 5000's series wasn't anywhere on your lists. The 5600 XT and 5700 or 5700 XT are all very good cards.

I think right now A750 would be close to A tier and A580 would be B tier. A580 price went up quite a bit probably from all the hype in the low-end builds to the point its almost the same price as the A750.

RX 6700 XT is easy A tier. 12GB VRAM for the price is good. At the very least it should be above the ARC cards...

IMO 3060 followed by 4060 suppose to be S tier cards due to low price and performance. 3060 can be found very cheap from the second hands.

Matt's list is overwhelmingly better than Jackson's. It's not even close.

I bought my 4090 as a return at a mom-and-pop store and it was unopened open box for $1100.
