Hi, I've switched my graphic set up since this video (mostly don't use skyrim 2020 anymore) but I still use these grass mods. I now get a steady 60fps (capped) in most places
This can go even further beyond with complex grass. Use the complex grass patch for each of the 3 grass types loaded after each of their respective grasses and then load the QW2 complex grass patch after that.
I have ENB, but I seem to be messing up the order to load the files, can you explain further please? For example cathedral enb loads after cathedral. But do I load cathedral enb before or after origins for example? Do I also need to load the original QW or just the QW for ENB?
I personally love Folkvangr and Origins together. Cathedral's grass has green mixed in with the brown/autumn grass in certain areas, and it looks kinda weird.
Ive been using fantasia, uvenwald lite, realistic grasses and realistic plants overhaul. I think a lod mesh for draw distance but overall with vivid weather its been solid performance for series s. But this looks more like what im after. Origins has the less dense version so i really hope it will deal.. im tapped out of modding patience.. Console modding is bunk af.
I’m on console and only have cathedral 3d pine grass as well as origins of forest. Any way to get a similar effect without folkvagnr and qws grass patch?
Can I ask, did you successfully manage to build the Grass LODs with DynDOLOD 3.0? I couldn't get Folkvangr to play nice when I tried a year ago so I ended up dropping it reluctantly. Running the other two as my base currently and the LOD's are great
load grass patches after grass mods nograssis can be loaded anywhere after the grass mods landscape fixes has patches for other mods so it needs a little more attention. but always place grass mods before mods that patch areas to remove grass.
Bro I try every grass mod my grass aways look the same .it gets denser but it looks the same . Trying with Skyrim and with skse . Both look like crap . Installed all 3 and then the patch .Help pls.
I have the seasons mod, should I load these grass mods before or after it? It seems that I'm not getting the same effect I see your videos. Instead of plants, I'm only getting stumps
hi bro, nice nice nice video. amazing grass combination... Its possible for you make a video to how dyndolod this grass? i try numerous times but couldn't make it work
what textures are you using? I tried this but the textures didnt match at all, and I had weird very yellow textures in the grass, I dont know what im doing wrong but is clear that I did it xd can u tell me the modlist you have for this setup?
Does the mod load order matter? I used to have this 3 different mods and I get different results everytime I try to make a new profile in MO2. I don't know the correct mod order for the best results. If possible, can you drop your mod load order for these mods? Thanks.
I’ve installed them all with Vortex (sorry MO2 users I know) But I can’t seem to see any grass or effects at all. I have a couple of overhauls running as well. What could be the issue? I also have an ENB with grass collisions going, but there’s no grass for me to collide into. The grass is basically short and bear everywhere. I have the QW 2 patch installed loading after all of it as well. All is in the proper load order. Could it be an ENB setting or something? I have tried so many things and can't manage to get any length of grass to appear in my game beside Skyrim flora overhaul which is just plants.
Do you use any custom INI settings for these? Or Lod generation like Dyndolod/tex/xLod? More specifically, I'm looking for a method to increase the draw distance. These mods are BEAUTIFUL but around White run I can see a "circle" of rendered grass and then nothing past that except trees ect. I seem to be missing quite a few "grass" ini settongs from random google suggestions. Would simply adding them to the text file work if you happen to know?
Yea that should be fine. In your skyrimpref.ini file there are these 3 grass settings that control the fade or draw distance: fGrassStartFadeDistance="xxxx" fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance="xxxx" fGrassMinStartFadeDistance="xxxx"
Hey if youre going to make a fricking video of something graphical, how bout you dont cover the majority of the viewing area with BS text. Put it off in the corner
