I have been growing out my sides for about 6 months, but ive never gotten any protective styles. Should I start simple with normal cornrows or go with the pop smoke braids or something?

im white and between a 3c/4a, currently been growing my hair out for a year and a half (under cut for a month) would i be able to get twists or should i get box braids instead? (if is culturally acceptable)
@@TarikLaRoda I love the look of twists I just wasn’t sure if I was going to offend anyone if I got them done, I love black culture so I definitely don’t want to offend some of my favourite people in the world
@@sirusblack2789 I’m not “white white” I’m Maltese and I think my lineage has roots in Africa down the line so that’s probably how I got my hair type, I’m more “olive” skin toned but I just get called white here in Australia so I just say I’m white
