The Best Hammer Augments in Tanki Online 

These are my personal favorite augments right now. What is your favorite?

For me my favourite used to be duplet, but now just kinda feels underpowered in my opinion and i orefer Blunderbus now

stun hammer is pretty nice too imo if u time your shots correctly, you can disable the overdrives of other people right when they are about to use it by stunning them stunning also makes escaping some situations a lot easier For example, if you got a firebird/freeze/isida on you, u can stun them and back off and gain some room plus the reload time is crazy, so stunning is quite frequent

man i really love playing with the high capacity ammo clip cuz it just feels so good using hammer rn and the reload speed feels like you're using a better autocannon

blunderbuss still crazy especially since crit hits can be used at decent range.... although its only good on small to medium sized maps

Adaptive reload is broken in low ranks shooting infinitely and stun gives you time to reload is also good

I think the high capacity clip is the best augment rn, for hammer, the 5 shots really do help when someone has protection or if they get destroyed with 3 shots of hammer and they heal at the second one you do. But since the good old days, dragon's breath has been my fav hammer augment, because it's just a direct increase of damage that hammer does

I like blunderbuss because the increased crit shot rate. And they increased the range for it with the update.

I have been experimenting Hammer and thunder lately. After using all the turrets, hammer and thunder are not so fun or powerful for me.

because its the only one i have i choose adaptive reload its just too fun cuz you just get ur shots back soo easily and if u use hornet OD its even better cuz u can get like a 10 killstreak

My best one right now is blunderbus since if they have 50% protection still able to destroy in 2 or 3 shots especially since it reloads very fast

emp and armor piercing augments on hammer are just the best for me!

people have firebird protection doesn't protect them from fire status effect. The heat immunity augment does.

I noticed that lot of people say Blunderbuss is great but after using it myself, I think its a downgrade from regular hammer if you don't have the turret fully upgraded. I'm still around MK5-6 and the other augment I have for hammer, which is Pulsar, seems a lot better.

After rework I would rate them like this A tier: HCAC, Slugger B tier: All status augs, adrenaline B-C tier: Blunderbuss, Duplet D tier: Adaptive reload. But before rework, it was A tier Blunderbuss, Duplet, Slugger B tier Adaptive B-C tier all status effects, adrenaline C tier HCAC.

i use the amour piercing thing , somehow got it from containers

why not Blunderbuss?

my favorite augment is vacuum shell ☺️ always get above 4+Kda per match

Vid suggestion: Pls make a vid about how broken Gauss rifle is. For me when you charge up to attack it doesn’t do damage half then time and it’s annoying.

I have dragon breath and I'm enjoying playing with it

The last time i used dragon breath is like 9 years ago when it was almost the only augment for hammer and it was op. But dragon breath is also an crystal augment right i remember i bought it for 30k. Idk if im wrong but now it is 130k or something right

My top 3 augments rn: 1. Pulsar You get so many crits, it's actually insane. While difficult to get, it can be extremely overpowered when you get the effects. 2. Duplet Duplet being able to do about 1800 damage if they have no double armor is crazy. (even if you don't have double damage) 3. Both breath augments Not many people would agree with the wyvern's breath choice, but it's pretty okay in ctf, and more people run heat immunity, than cold. immunity. In ctf, if you get 1 shot on someone annoying, and they don't have repair, and it freezes, it's basically a cap, if they can't turn around fast enough. Dragons breath is my more fav augment, because of the extra DOT the biggest drawback to it tho, is more people run fire immunity, than cold immunity

Before the update was adaptive reload the best augment but now they decreased the damage so i have to shoot 5 times to kill an viking. And yes i dont like the new hammer update i hate it its is so bad. I always liked to play with hammer but now nehh

Where do you get augments from. Are they obtained through boxes or. Can you buy them ?

no one talks about slugger its honestly a weird thing cuz i havent played tanki in many years let alone playing slugger hammer and hammer has also been changed recently and crits have been added to turrets other than smoky so idk but back then it used to just make every single shot way more consistent at the cost if it being slightly less forgiving but now the range increase is literally insane it feels like im using ricochet soooo try slugger and see if you like it

My Hammer is since it was released still mk 2 so I can't say anything xD I don't use this weapon, just because O don't know I never came to the situation to upgrade Hammer xD
