In this Razer Blackshark V2 X review I take a look at one of Razer's more budget friendly headset to see if by stripping down everything they made the Blackshark V2 X better and honestly, this headset sounds amazing.
For the price point this is one of the best sounding headsets I have tested and since it works on multiple platforms it is easy to just buy one headset and use it on all of your devices.

Yo man, great video, need your help with something I have these razer headsets, I've been trying to find which model they are, they look like the black shark ones, they have a power button and mute mic botton on the left but no sync button on the right, the mic is detachable and the vents at the top are a straight line and not the dotted vents, I'd appreciate the help thanks

Please help me the ones i have right now dont sound that good. If i could describe it in any way the sound quality just didnt sound clear at all but my barracuda x sounded way more clear. Does the blackshark v2x genuinely sound like this? If yes then i can return these and replace them for a new one. I beg of you to respond

I have a laptop and dont have 2 jacks, will the quality be okay with the one jack?

Most laptops only have one audio jack that is a combo. The splitter or two cables that you usually see are for desktop PC's where they split the audio and the mic input.

The mic is fairly sensitive so you might pick up those noises depending on how loud they are, but you can add a high pass filter that will drown out some of the noise of low frequencies.

I unfortunately don't have an Xbox, but on PS5 and switch it sounded alright. Definitely not as good as on pc, but still better then what arctis 7s did

I also dislike headsets that don't allow you to remove the mic or at least tuck it away, but the comfort for me was good especially compared to headsets in the same price range, but there are much more comfortable headsets out there

This headset was surprisingly good for the price, so I would say yes, but it also depends on what you are used to and how you like your audio to sound, (but it can be EQd)

The audio quality is muffled. Missing so many frequencies that EQ doesn't help you recover the lost frequencies!

Not unless you are purposesly trying to damage them they should be fine. I usually only adjust a headset once maybe twice and then I leave it. The benefit they have is they allow to be flexible and sit more comfortable on your head.

I own the Cougar Phontum S (i bought them in 2018 for 70USD, final price included shipping) and i got the Blackshark V2 X one week ago for 65Euros (final price included shipping). Literally they feel cheap, nothing special with the sound, my phontum S headset overal sounds better, the bass is overexposed u need to tune it with EQ, and the mic is a midrage mic for that kind of money. So nothing special. Dont get me wrong. I do not mean that it is for the trash, but overal not worth the price. If u can find it at 30-35max it is a good deal. For 45+shipping its a no

Not like some do, but they do cut out some background noise when you wear them.

No noise reduction at all. It actually increases the noises heard by your microphone so that those noises drown out your voice.

These are TERRIBLE for XBOX!!!! ... BUYERS BEWARE... there is no directional audio out of the box at all if you play FPS games. Whether action is left, right, behind, or above everything sounds the same. You can't tell where anyone is at all unless you see them. If anyone knows how to fix this without using a computer please share!

Crinacle would highly disagree with your bullshit. That being said, these headset is garbage. At $50, you can get a turtle beach recon 500 with significantly better imaging, tonality, and sound separation.

Since I have never tested the Turtle Beach I can't compare it to that. The sound quality of this headset isn't bad especially for the price point. If I had the Turtle beach to compare it with I might have leaned to that one, but I didn't so I only had it to compare it to itself and the price point

I've not used turtle beach, but I agree that this headset is horrible. All the sounds is muffled because for some reason this headset is missing frequencies.
