Hello everyone!! Today I’m finally bringing you a highly requested video- my high-end starter kit!! Allie, ever since I’ve been watching your tutorials there one particular tip you’re consistent with that at first I just didn’t get, understand, or see the point. Well mam, the use of a damp sponge after particular product applications or in between steps has won me over. Wow what a difference in the finish. My makeup looks amazing every time I repeat the use of my sponge. Life transforming, thank you🎉

I'm a glasses wearer, and I find that going 2-3 shades lighter on the under eye concealer definitely helps brighten my eyes behind the glasses.

The BareMinerals tinted moisturizer broke me out so badly that I had to return it. My country doesn't do returns but I managed when I told the clerk that all the pimples were from using the product. I think it was the coconut in the product, so if your pores clog easily, beware!

Love your natural but superb makeup look. Your videos have captured me. You are so naturally beautiful, that you probably wouldn't have started makeup so seriously if you had totally clear skin when you were younger. I never used makeup when younger, but now that I am older, I need something (particularly the brows and eyes) to make me look alive even. Probably my beginner suggestion would be to check out the Anastasia blush trios! They've got quite a few to choose from and it's easy to be overwhelmed by not knowing what single blush you should invest in so those give you nice options. You get 3 in 1, they're not big at all and you can just choose whatever one catches your eye. I know that, for me, trying to find one single blush color that I think will look good can be overwhelming, especially in terms of price. So those are good value for money and a great formula

If you don’t have makeup brushes, it can be nice to start with a cream blush/highlighter. The Kosas cream blush and highlighter compacts are great for that. They apply really well with just your fingers.

Best concealer I’ve found is Wet N Wild Photo Focus. It dries down and looks good all day. It really hides my dark circles and makes my under eyes look flat and flawless.

Great beginner high end lip product - Nars Afterglow lip balm! My fav. colors are Dolce Vita or Orgasm! Tint of color if you don't want to try lipstick & super comfortable to wear. Plus, I feel comfortable applying it without a mirror.

for a beginner and from drugstore I actually think eyeshadow can be fun. I started with a small seventeen trio palette ( called perfect harmony..it might be an older release) it does need prep ( concealer or foundation or eye primer and powder on the lids first ) but it has lovely neutral shades..simple to work with..pigmented and lasts long (with prep!) I recommend it..mono eyeshadows can be great too but I feel like I haven't reached for them much. I definitely want to more.

Love, love, love. I have a question. Some makeup artists use "contour" products that are cooler tone to create "shadows" separate from a "bronzer" to warm up the face. You seem to use bronzer to both contour and warm up the complexion. Have you ever use a "contour" powder of a cooler tone?

You don't necessarily need contour, that is for very defined looks. For a simple, natural look bronzer will be enough. Also, anything that is not the same value or tone of your skincolor will shape even a blush. If you use a low cover foundation or have a very strong cheek bones you don't need much contouring either.

I love that bare minerals tinted moisturizer! I use that exact same shade for my winter shade in that one because it adds a little moisture for the winter and I feel like my acne isn’t as bad in the winter so it’s plenty of coverage for me and then I used use the Clinique “ even better” CN29 bisque shade in the summer as something that’s technically foundation over a tinted moisturizer but it’s minimal coverage which I like. It doesn’t add as much moisture and it covers the couple of more blemishes I tend to have in the summer. This is a bit warmer toned, slightly darker color than that bare minerals shade. If you’re skin color is really close to Allie and I, I would for sure recommend these two foundations for lightweight, minimal coverage foundations

I use 2 setting sprays as well. Usually Mac fix+ and Urban Decay All Nighter. I have over 20 different setting sprays one of my favorite makeup products!

For blush i recommend Manny Mua's blush palette (Lunar Beauty), it's so pigmented and the colors are gorgeous! 💖 For gloss i really recommend Rihanna's gloss bombs (Fenty) they feel so good and rich on the lips. 💖

Even with rosacea I find the bare minerals does a decent job. I do layer to build up coverage and colour correct using a green primer or green concealer first tho.

I love Milani for a more wallet friendly option for bronzer, blush and highlighters. You can get the brand almost anywhere these days and the quality is amazing. As for prestige I like Kylie personally. Her bronzers, blushes and highlighters work very well for me and are very reasonably priced, $18 for bronzers and blushes and $20 for highlighters, in store at Ulta.

I was surprised you didn't mention an eye primer. When I began, I used the Urban Decay primer potion and it was wonderful. For a drugstore dupe, Milani eyeshadow primer. Both are clear but prevent creasing and help with the vibrancy of the shadows.

I just received my Full Bag Collection!! I usually don't buy makeup bags because I get so many for free, but yours looked so beautiful and so ORGANIZED!! I love them! Hi Allie!!! Love watching the different videos. My go to when I don't feel like drugstore,is Lancome dual finish compact. I use it as a powder foundation. As a 55 year old lady, it works beautifully,on prepped skin. I've used Lancome products for over 30 years. It's good on young and mature skin. Really recommend the dual finish, used dry. We are all in masked now when out so the powder is great!!!

Thrive mascara is a Holy Grail! I have tried every mascara on this earth and Thrive is THE BEST! I also agree about the Wander Beauty Nude Illusions. I originally received it in an IPSY box and recall being so mad that it wasn't something like Urban Decay but to this day I kick myself for being so difficult about trying new items because life without Wander Beauty can be a cake or powder mess. lol

I love Laura Lees brush set. I purchased 2 of them so I don’t have to wash all the time. Lol. Also bought my 19 year old niece a set. They are beautiful brushes and wash beautifully never fray or shed. Their perfect. Also it’s really not that expensive not in comparison to some. thanks for sharing about the powder the thrive , I had been using the ciate coconut and love how light and fluffy it is . but I will try a couple things to see since you said its ur favorite and it continues to moisturize during the day,, that got my attention. its kinda late and im getting ready for nite time. I realized your voice is the perfect mom voice ' that you like talk to ur Kids and your voice can settle them to sleep . talking softly its very relaxing . telling them a story with that voice they will love it . not being weird . I used to talk about anything with my voice super low and they would rock off to sleep its so enjoyable those moments are gone too fast... I have no idea if you have kids yet sorry you might but im sure if you do they love your voice too.

I so much want to order your full bag collection. I will have to wait until my home is rebuilt from hurricane Laura. I don’t get to have packages delivered at my house because it is unlivable but as soon as I can I want the collection. Love your videos and you makeup bag venture.
