I just made your granola bars! ...except I didnt have any old fashioned oats....oh my gosh I hardly even had any quick oats! Too late to turn back, I subbed in everything I could find on the back shelf - wheat germ, sesame seeds, even popped amaranth & rice krispies! They turned out delicious. Best granola bars I've ever made.

With the granola bars I found if you ever run short of oats, krisped rice is a great substitution and offers a little crunch. The date bites sound delicious.

Good morning 🙏😊 I just finished wrapping my granola’s bars! They are great snacks and I make them every week for my grandsons. They have a nutritious snack to throw in their backpacks and have it before a baseball game or during practice. Much more filling than the store bought ! I also add some protein powder for extra energy 😊

I stopped buying granola bars a year ago ,,, I now make a really good ,date , coconut ,nut bars ,,,they are Great solo or on yogurt ,,, love them ,, so much better homemade ,,,cost about 4$ for a pan that last about 1 -2 weeks ,,,

I've totally been into making granola bars lately. I usually just toast my oats and coconut in the oven for 8 minutes while I melt my butter, sugar and honey in a sauce pan. Then throw everything together, push down into the pan and refrigerate until cool. Super yummy!

For your granola bars, my hubs is allergic to coconut so what can I use as a substitute

I call those energy balls. But my recipe calls for toasted coconut and mini chocolate chips. They always dissappear. Honey is getting expensive. I'm going to try agave.
