Just got mine ordered after a waiting week or so for them to come back in stock. That’s awesome finally a proper dual beam LED for these ATV’s. I had them shipped to Canada too for anyone wondering. Thanks for the info 👍
I ordered these and installed in my 2022 Rubicon. For anyone wondering, do not bother. Originals are MUCH better, these have the nice white light but are very dim. Save your money.
Thanks. Agreed. So glad I tried these. They are definitely keepers. The first set from HondaBoats had the nice color to them but not useful at night. They made a good DRL during the day, lol. I have to go back and thank the viewer that recommended these. Thanks for watching!!
Man how I wish you would’ve posted this video before I decided to buy mine, I found these exact ones on Amazon but I decided to go with a similar one and I am happy but I think they could be brighter
Hey Q. I actually thought of that and video’d flipping over to high beam against the garage door and totally forgot about the LED handlebar light and our Auxbeam lightbar coming on with the brights. Totally blinding on the video with those extra lights. Couldn’t even make out where the headlights were. Lol. All I can say is it’s darn bright now with all of them on. I’ll do another nighttime ride video in the future. Thanks for watching my friend!!!
I bought these same exact ones and i am not too happy. LEDs should shine to the sides not too and bottom. I thought I'd be able to adjust but nope. As you can see the bottom of the headlight is not shiny. Not meant to reflect like the sides
Sorry that these did not work out for you. I agree, the manufactures should make the diodes rotatable so that you can dial them in, but unfortunately they don’t. I have the same alignment problem with the led for the high beam handlebar light. That said, these were the bulbs in my testing that had the closest beam alignment/cutoff to the factory bulbs. Unfortunately, any aftermarket led bulb put into a reflector housing made for a halogen bulb will never have quite the same beam alignment. I see this all the time when drivers retrofit their halogen auto bulbs with HID or LED and accomplishes nothing but blinding oncoming traffic. The ultimate solution here would be to retrofit the LED headlight pods from the Pioneer 1000 side by side (as done in other RU-vid videos), but I really didn’t want to pay $200+ for each Honda headlight assembly. I just don’t do enough night riding to justify the cost. I use my headlights during the day as DRL’s for safety and any time I need serious illumination at night, I run the high beams, which includes my Auxbeam LED lightbar mounted on the front bumper. I’ve been very happy with this setup. Thanks for watching and commenting.
It’s in this prior video I did on a first set of replacement bulbs I tried that weren’t that great. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Dquvz2Jo3Ew.html
I looked up the factory Honda bulb numbers and it looks like the Rancher 420 and Foreman 520 both take the OEM bulb number 34901-HR3-A21, so yes these should fit in yours. You can also double confirm with Rusty Palmers if you end up ordering from them. Let us know how you like them if you order them. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching.
I want to get these for my 2023 but I show the part number for the headlights as 34901-HR3-A21 for the headlights and 34901-HR6-A60 for the Pod. Can you confirm?
So the owners manual only lists the bulbs as 12v with the appropriate wattage. No bulb number listed. The high beam bucket is an 880. I have an Auxito bulb in there. My Auxito video has the Amazon link. As for the headlights, another member commented in this video that they are HR3. Sorry but there’s no number listed on the box that I ordered from Rusty Palmers.
I called Art at Rusty Palmers today to ask about the bulb size. He searched for about 10 minutes and came up empty-handed. The problem is that Honda does not use a regular base like a 9005, 9007, H3, H11 etc. Even the handlebar high beam has a bulb number (880 or 882 I believe) but not the headlights. That’s why it was so hard to find a bulb that fits. Sorry I don’t have more info for you.
I would call Art at Rusty Palmers (contact info in the description) and ask them if they carry the Chusyyray bulb in a size for your Foreman. Might even be the same size and this. Thanks for watching.
Tail light is LED from the factory. No bulb to replace. For the handlebar high beam, I did a review earlier on that ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lhZ7YMLJDwU.htmlsi=3MJ9gKNRrBKz_5tV
No. The handlebar high beam is the Auxito bulb I reviewed here. The Amazon link is in that video description. The Auxito’s were better than the Auxlight I tried first. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lhZ7YMLJDwU.html
Per the description in both videos Headlight: Rusty Palmers Honesdale, PA 570-253-4507 Ask for Art in Parts Dept Part Number 34901-HR6-A60LED High Beam: 880 Bulb a.co/d/88wNAXH
hay , just check , leds are designed to be used 3 and 9 o'clock, see if it helps. Otherwise hit up the guys at headlight Revolution , they have a great youtube channel and a nice website , just hide your wallet.
Thanks Rob. Unfortunately you can’t rotate the LED alignment on the base and the base only fits into the headlight bucket one way (with the LEDS pointing up and down). This was the same case with the Auxito bulb in the handlebar high beam. I will check them out and hide my wallet 😂 Thanks for watching.
