Agreed. Guillermo del Toro has been holding out. Probably for theaters to open back up instead up releasing it for streaming. Im ok with that because id definitely rather watch that in theaters. Then buy it if it wows me.

They know scientifically what upsets the ear that's why always the low rumbling it induces stress and anxiety. It's long practiced sound design but yeah very unoriginal

We've had The Witch, Hereditary, The Ritual, Color Out of Space, etc., that were all excellent in my opinion. But I know what you mean. Contemporary horror seems to be diverging into two tracks. One is highly metaphorical, like The Babadook, where the film sort of winks at the audience and says "The monster was depression all along! Get it? It's metaphor!" And the other track is just cheaper remakes of better horror films. The first style sucks all the impact out of horror as an experience and the latter simply doesn't add anything at all. Hopefully this will change soon.

@Your Mother Hubbard Probably nothing. I just couldn't get into it. I watched it all the way through once and couldn't see what the big deal was. Which is weird cause the concept itself is something that appeals to me.

​@Brian McDougall I mean...I'm yet to finish Penninsula cause I got bored pretty quickly and stopped watching before that scene but I'm guessing, from the trailer, that they either tied them together to make others fight this creature for entertainment purposes and like bets and stuff or they fused together by themselves when undisturbed kinda like a rat king situation from the last of us 2. As for the train zombie carpet, I don't see why that's such a huge flaw for you...lol It's not that big of a deal imo...idk...it really didn't bother me at all, it's just a creative choice and doesn't affect the great story and acting in any way.

@@blessings1015 movie trailers are just advertisements for movies and this video is all movie trailers therefore all movie ads......Plus "they" added ads to this video making it ads with ads. "They" would be the people who were smart enough to get people to watch ads during a video that is all ads.....Kinda shows how stupid people have become to where they are forced to constantly see ads and think its perfectly normal. Cable tv has as many ads as network tv and the whole point of cable was there were no commercials. I guess if you don't understand the meaning of my comment then there isnt any point in explaining the obvious to you.
