Watched a bunch of your videos and now a subscriber. Two things I like: To the point and not a bunch of repetitive, boring clips of tools on a tester. Your charts are clear, concise and useful. Consistently testing multiple batteries per tool. The only honest way to compare performance between brands. Must take a lot of time. Frankly, a S/M/L of each would suffice. I would like to see more of an overall review of the tool, even if it is a subjective opinion. Ergos, build quality, features, value, etc. So many channels overlook this and dwell strictly on performance. Keep up thew great work!

If going 12v Milwaukee or bosch. They are the only brands with a good 12v lineup

The testing is interesting because I have the Makita and the Hercules 12 V and my Hercules always beats Makita in every test

I understand testing brushless against each other for reference, but It's an odd category when the brushless prices can overlap brushed across brands (e.g. Skil12V). I know of no reason to prefer brushed over brushless, so grouping them all together for a final comparison makes sense to me.

I remember buying an M18 hackzall. The brushed version was much cheaper, but using them both in person what really surprised me was how much smaller and less awkward the brushed version was. Also it was on sale so it was almost half the price of the brushless. Of course that doesn't apply to all tools, but that was not even close to a comparable price.

@@mediocreman2 Brushless tools are almost always smaller, but there can be exceptions. I was speaking as a category though and not specific tools. Grouping them together makes sense for comparison, as even your anecdote illustrates

All these seem pretty pointless. They're very long, very slow in real world applications and most are pretty expensive. $105 for the Makita is just way too much, you can get a decent brushless drill-driver as a kit, that will do the jhob of driving medium-sized screws in a fraction of the time, for less.

Yeah most are being discontinued like the Dewalt and Hilti.
