I like how happy you are with those books you bought, and ur personality made me keep on watching honestly, because most book vlogs mostly bore me out at some point. And the editing too is meticulous and those bookshops you've been too i could already smell the booooks through the screen ahhh!! I love it, thanks for taking ur time making this vlog/video!
This just came up on my suggestions and I'm glad it did, when things go back to normal I'm coming down for a few days, so need some book shops to go to. The books are my bag thing is using the ''It's my bag'' saying for things you like or prefer. Likewise if you don't like something, you would say ''that's not really my bag''. It's from the jazz era, I believe, so it just means you really love books.
This is the first video that I watch about books that has actually brought the values I look forward to hearing more from booktube. Support local business. 🤍
I just went to my local pre loved bookshop the other day! I wish we had more here. :( I used to live in an enormous metro with plenty of options and now I just have the one. I try to be as environmentally friendly as I can be and buying books second hand gives me all the good feels. 😌
Amazing!! I love that you’re supporting these actively!! Thanks for recommending me wordery, I try to support independent bookshops but it’s hard when they don’t ship internationally!! Also I’ve been to Brighton and it’s so lovely!!
Only recently discovered book tube and this video popped up on feed so I have subscribed from watching just the intro as I agree with your message and you are from Brighton, which is where I live 😃👋 looki g forward to seeing bookshops...as I miss them ☹ fingers crossed not long now!
Great video. I can tell that you put in a lot of work and I think I might do something similar all the way in South Africa! So keen to connect with BookTubers on different continents!!
I absolutely love your creativity in the choose theme of the videos. 👏🏼🧡 Second-hand items are so underestimated in Brazil. It's pity. I love so much all of kind second-hand store. 😥
I detect perfidy in the management of the Amnesty Book Store. Who in the world organizes a book shop w/the book titles are all pointed away from the customer except someone who wants the book store to fail. I’ve never seen that anywhere in the world. Amnesty would sell many more books if they only turned them around, so you could read the titles. 😏
'Unfit...'? Very fit, you are beautiful! Like your personality. I always enjoy good bookshop vlogs, (you obviously have a good crew to). You can always trust world-wide surveys... Feminists...growing plants Sun, Mon, Tues...haunting Wednesday? - Andrew, Christchurch, New Zealand 12/20
Amazing! You have me so hyped to go on a bookshop tour. Think that will be my birthday plan love it! I had not heard of half of these and am so excited to visit. I have been to Oxfam bookshop off Portland Road near George street. There was a really cute bookshop with descending iron staircase near on of the roads that links South Lanes to west street. But that was years ago so not sure if it still exists. The Book Nook on 2nd Ave, is a fab childrens bookshop (I managed to spend £150 on most of the families Christmas presents myself include before lockdown 3 hit, which I was proud of). This month through bookshop.org I discovered the Feminist Bookshop and ordered directly from them, I got a few books include Gender, and The Parable of the sower. Excited to read both. Will definitely be checking out more of your videos. Have you used World of Books? Where I have been buying the majority of my books from recently. Definitely worth a look. Happy reading Charlotte x
