I've had mine for over a year, bought the set with the Nd, circular polariser,wide angle and graduated filters.. Still works perfectly and the results are amazing.

Just bought one as I still use my Samsung S20 which i think is still an awesome camera. Gonna look into Filmic pro though as it looks like it may give me more options than the native camera on the phone. Nice review, thanks. Subbed.

The kase magnetic nd filters. They have a l shaped magnetic strip u can connect to any case then take the filters on and off as needed. I use my otterbox commuter daily. I have the otterbox symmetry case with the strip on it with several different filters just trying to make sure i have what i need for a good shot

Another great video. Just a suggestion, since most iPhone 12 Pro Max cases won't work with the DJI OM4 gimbal, you could also list your Torras case in your equipment links.

No, you have to move it around, but it’s not too much trouble. Just so you know, this doesn’t work for the iPhone 13 pro range. The cameras stick out at the back too much.

Nice video. Thanks. I ve Iphone 12 pro max , same filter, using filmicpro too but with sun and nd 400, 1/60, still very too much sun. I ve much better result when i stick my Mavic 2 pro ND16 filter on the iphone lens. 🙂

Thanks, you probably don’t want to go with this budget filter then mate. Check out my video on the Sandmarc filters. They make bespoke cases for the 12 pro max and a full set of different filters. 👊🏽

Hi there...I know this is an older video but I like this budget option. I have a 15pro max and I think the best ND filter to cover the 3 lenses would be a 52mm or 55mm...I Just worry that this clip on holder may damage the iphone screen? I don't want to spend money on a new special case and invest in a dedicated system. My iphone is just for personal fun projects with my insta 360 flow...for anything else I have my FX30 and FX3 with lenses and all those toys...which clip on would you recommend for a 15pro max to cover all 3 lenses and that won't put too much pressure on the iphone screen? Thanks for the video! Still going strong!

Hey, so I really don’t think that the is a real budget clip on lens for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I would most probably recommend either creating a DIY versions using a step up ring glued into a cheap case (You can then use any of your own filters), or go with the Sandmarc VND which comes with a clip on adapter.

Is there a big difference between 37 mm clip or by a step up ring on it and put bigger lens? for example 52 mm ? What will be different ? For example, if using Xperia 1 mark iv phone which has 85 mm telephoto, i don't know what size to choose.

Great video!! I bought it and using it in an iphone 12 pro and for some reason, and i think the reason is me, the footage of my subject walking comes out with some kind of ghosting effect around them. Have you or anyone has experience this? Thanks for the feedback.

Are you using the stand wide or ultra wide? I wasn’t getting that problem, but I think you would if you used the ultra wide lens.

Will it fit on a 14? I want to try filter and lenses and see how it will suit me but it don’t want to throw 300$ and be disappointed and buying on some kind of budget is super hard to find good products

Hi, just a question, do we really need to get the filmic pro or other app when using a filter? Will it not work with the native camera in iphone12 pro max?

Hey, to use this filter and correctly practice the 180° rule, you have to double your shutter speed to the frame rate you’re shooting. Unfortunately, the standard camera app on iPhone doesn’t allow you to manually change any camera settings. So you will need to use a pro camera app like FilmicPro .

Hi. I received mine a couple of days ago and I'm reasonably happy. However, I notice on your video, you seem to have your filter attached without the clip. How you doing that? I also found when I choose wide angle, unless the filter is clipped on absolutely to the millimetre, I can see part of the filter body, which is not good. I'm wondering if I can attach it like yours is, I may not fix that issue. Thanks

Hey, so this is a clip on filter, so it was never attached to my phone without the clip. I just watched the video back and I can’t see where you’ve seen that 😁 In regards to the ultra-wide lens, you definitely will not be able to use this filter with that lens. It’s recommended to use with the standard wide lens. 👊🏽

Ah ok, that was a recap from a previous video showing the settings for FilmicPro. In that video I was using a different, more expensive filter by PolarPro which comes with a case to screw it into.

I know there's a company called moment that do similar but to ship to Spain, where I live is super expensive so I'll look around and see if I can get a case/mount as the actual neewer filter is decent I just find the clip a little small and cumbersome (and I agree, they could have included a lens cap!) I actually wouldn’t recommend PolarPro anymore. The best filter case combination has come from sandmarc or Freewell, so also whack them both out.

It does, but not recommended for the ultra wide lens. You’ll see some vignetting.
