I really hope that while there are references to the films I hope it does its own thing and adds something new, some new lore we can speculate and add on to! Or at the very least lean more into what happened in the books.
The underground tunnels I believe were also shown in Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous *to an extent* so their canonicity isn't just proven here but also it's now confirmed that the tunnels there are most likely the same tunnels from JP, just reused because they're perfectly good tunnels.

The rexy paddock was solved a while ago. The wall is in a small gully. There's drawings, sketches and artist renderings showing how the gully looked. Rexy made the appearance and gate breakthrough on one of the beginning or end points where the gully would incline or decline. Edit: comment pointed out better description than I originally stated.
Do you think they'll reference the 2011 game? It'd be a cool little nod to see some bits of the semi-canonized lore get recognized! Like even if we just see a name badge of Dr. Sorkin or evidence of the Troodon situation like finding D-Caf's body would be a cool touch. I still remember your Let's Play and rewatch it often, I can't wait to see what else they're gonna do!
I like how Beaver completely forgot about Aftermath, that was an actual survival horror video game. But honestly, it did feel like it was forgotten by the Fans as well, because nobody else talks about it, even if it had some huge Lore in it!
I think they are showing the cold room because all the raptors are dead due to the Rex and the big one so having that one raptor escape gives a canonical reason for having a raptor in the game.
What I want from this game is the herbivores to pose a threat to. Like trying to avoid getting crushed by a brachiosaurus or trying not to die from a triceratops
The freezer is opened from the inside for those who don't know. It has a button on the door that bypasses and opens it in case of emergency. It's seen in the movie as well. It's white in the movie I believe.
This game genuinely looks so peak, the graphics are amazing, and it looks like Dino crisis mixed with Jurassic Park Trespasser, and a bit of Alien Isolation, it looks so good 😭 peak incoming Edit: this is 100% an open world game, like Trespasser, you will be able to go anywhere on the island.

The scratch mark could be herrerasaurus. It’s shown on most Jurassic Park Maps and I’m pretty sure it canonically was on the island so that would be cool. First time seeing it in over a decade since Jurassic park the game
I remember as an 8 year old in primary school imagining two of my dream Jurassic Park video games. One was a LEGO Game, and the other was a survival/explore parts of the park that we were seen in the film and now 15 years later, both of those dreams have come true and I cannot wait to play this. The memories of playing Operation Genesis and the TellTale Game are coming back on top of this.

It took years but we finally have a Jurassic Park game that’s something we have been starving for since trespasser. I just hope they pull it off, not just a game only fans would like, but something that everyone can enjoy and be a new standard for movie games.
The claw mark could have possibly been made by the Herrerasaurus. The Jurassic Park Map shows us that there is an enclosure for the Herrerasaurus and they were featured in the 2011 TellTale Game. So thia video game could rectify the TellTale game by this brand new game being a remake on that story AAAAND caring some of what that game was trying to tell!
Best option Herrasaurus are scavengers and rexy didn’t eat the big one. Rexy probably ate the raptor she killed first so that means the Herrasaurus probably ate the big one that’s why we never see her bones cause Herrasaurus can digest bone
It’s so crazy to see this be an actual thing. It’s all I’ve wanted for YEARS. I love JW: Evolution just like I loved JP: Operation Genesis, but THIS is the game I’ve dreamt of. The concept of dinosaur centric games is such a potentially huge market that no one has really capitalized on. Universal of all companies hopefully realizes the amount of power they wield.
I'm excited to see Beaver play this. I wonder if we'll get to see John Arnold's body or something. Didn't he die like offscreen? Would love to also see at least a small easter egg referring to the game made by Telltale Games.
I feel that heart grew 3 sizes remark! Jurassic Park has held a special place in my heart for over 25 years when I first watched it! Words can't express how excited I am for this, seeing this made me feel so elated. Its a kind of Joy only this original setting can capture! I'll never not love Jurassic Park.
I REALLY hope we see more of the 1993 parasaurolophus,such a good design. Also,If i had to guess the claw mark's species,It would be a Metriacanthosaurus since we see its DNA when nedry is stealing them.
I hope the gameplay will be not too dissimilar from Alien Isolation, like having tools that will either distract them away from you or deter them from attacking you. Something like flares and firecrackers, maybe a face shield to prevent getting Dilophosaurus spit in the eye. I hope there will also be big set pieces where you run from the dinosaurs, maybe you lure one dino into another so they start fighting and you can escape in the chaos. There's so much potential for greatness, maybe even a future GOTY award winner.
@@Chronic_Gambler What I mean is the dinosaur chasing the player, the player intentionally runs towards other dinosaurs so the one chasing them will get distracted and fight with the other dinosaurs.

I remember a couple weeks ago I had ideas for a Jurassic Park survival game. Instead of being set on the original JP, it was set on an abandoned Jurassic World Evolution park (Primarily to give more freedom on what I can include). The map was procedurally generated, and some major things were that the island was *loaded* with supplies, even early in the game. But the player needed to be wise with those supplies or they would run out pretty quickly. There were three difficulty modes and four difficulty settings, the modes determined how the player was allowed to save the game, easy being anywhere, normal being once a day, and hard being permadeath. The settings determined damage, dinosaur counts, dinosaur health, and how aggressive certain dinosaurs were. Easy was noticeably less aggressive with damage the player can easily tank through, Normal was the normal difficulty as expected, Hard gives every dinosaur anger issues as well as damage where most hits one shot an unprotected player (And adds an Indominous Rex into the mix), and Very Hard doesn't change anything from Hard except doubling damage and health of all dinosaurs (and throws an Indoraptor into the mix). There were two endings, the main one where the player reactivates the communications tower and rescue arrives, and the secret one where the player builds a boat and escapes themselves. That's basically everything I came up with and it's basically completely off topic which is fun....Uh the new game looks really cool and I can't wait to try it!
Maya seems fun as main character in this game but if the devs could go for the two following things than this will be one epic game in my opinion: 1. A *character creation* for fun on replaying the whole game. 2. For the gameplay to be a *third-person over the shoulder view* rather just looking at arms, hands & legs sometimes. Likes if you guys like the idea!
A safe bet for what else may appear in the game are the dinosaurs that were on the Jurassic Park map. So Baryonyx, Hererasaurus, Metriacanthosaurus and Segisaurus could all be viable Dinosaurs that could appear. More so Baryonyx since a water section is already present and it has a movie model to be used.
The wait is over my brothers and sisters... the prophecy will come true. The fabled survival game will soon come... and will be livestreamed by THE dino gaming legend himself! No more do we need to settle for Park building and tell tale narrative games, we will finally be able to experience Jurrasic Park in all its horrorifying and nostalgic wonder. The Raptor call from the cold room at the end gives me goosebumps. I've been a huge JP fan since I was a very small child, never played any of the other games but I will absolutely be checking this one out.
Can’t wait to have that unnerving feeling as I trudge through the wilderness of nublar at night and suddenly have the hairs on the back of neck stand up as I hear a dilo chirp or raptor call from the murky black darkness of the foliage. Immerse me in fan service and new cannon storyline!

And today, a Trailer for a JURASSIC PARK SURVIVAL GAME! Not only is it in December, Christmas time, but it's in my Birth Month! This month has been nothing but hype, and I'm ALL FOR IT!

They've already confirmed how the T.rex was able to get out but the car fell down the moat. I believe they did show/intended to show it but it got scrapped for time, it's written in the script and drawn into the layout for the scene, you can look up the drawings. The T.rex paddock had a moat around the edges as a safety precaution. But that means the people in the jeeps can't see the T.rex so they placed the goat feeding platform near the fence and made what is essentially a hill; so the Rex walks up, eats the goat in view of the cars and then walks back down to the rest of the paddock. This hill also ensures the road with the jeeps is level and stable but also may offer a way for maintenance to get in/out of the paddock or maybe even the initial crew who built it. Rexy spins the jeep and pushes it around after she comes up and it moves back down the fence to the side with the moat not the hill, so when it gets pushed over, it's the full drop. I've seen lots of people say it's a stupid idea to put the feeder at the top of the hill by the fence (which it may be) but having the feeder there from a logistical point of view would actually condition Rexy into avoiding the fence. As she goes near it she'd brush against it and get shocked, and so tries not to touch it. She can't avoid that area as she has to go there to eat, and as she's more likely to touch the fence by the feeder, she should associate that particular part of the fence with getting zapped so much that it *should* have stopped her from even realising it was off in the first place. If it's conditioned enough that touch fence = zap that she'd avoid touching it entirely and so shouldn't touch it or touch it long enough to realise it's off. But unfortunately she did. Not sure if this is because she's new to the enclosure or if she's extra dumb or extra intelligent. But if they had her feed trained with flares I'm sure they thought they could condition her to the fences, so I think she just wasn't in there long enough. Either way it actually makes *sense* to put it there.

This game will probably be a linear game, but I hope it's an open world where you can explore all of the island with dlc/expansions being other islands.
If this is canon, I’m gonna guess that somewhere along the game you accidentally open the Cold Storage locker and release the Raptor that turns out to have survived, and then it stalks you throughout the rest of the game, kind of like Mr. X in the Resident Evil games.
This has been a LONG time in coming. I couldn't be happy and more excited!!! We need more games of differing genres. I can't wait for this to come out!! I mean, this is what Jurassic is - surviving. Not park building. Not any of that. And I just want more games in this genre. Action/adventure. Suspense/drama.
I am so excited for this game! I watched Jurassic Park when I was a toddler and I've been obsessed with dinosaurs ever since. Hopefully my PC can run the game when it releases, but regardless I think it will be fantastic. As a little side note, I think it would be very neat if Universal could make a series following the events of the book and maybe even the Lost World book!

When she was in the kitchen. She also tripped over a ladle on the Floor. Is the one Lex used to distract the raptors when they got close to her brother.. Its filled with Easter eggs and fan service. Love it
And this is essentially what Trespasser was originally going to be as well before its development troubles changed it. So now we are basically getting what was going to be. :)
You notice that this trailer utilizes most of the original soundtracks from the movie and the original sounds of the dinosaurs! That makes it even more attractive and the fact it’s set in Jurassic Park and not in Jurassic World! The horror game we’ve been asking for for years and now technology has caught up to our desires and their vision
Remember in the movie the main character is like "they figured out how to open doors". Then they spent five minutes trying to keep the door closed before lexi can lock it from the computer. So they can open doors cause theyre not completely dumb lol
Finally Universal listens to what the fans really want I’m am absolutely stoked about the game and can wait to find out more about the game as future updates are made 10000% gonna play it when it come out 🎉
My two theories for what that scratch on the wall could be is either baryonyx or hererasaurus, since they were both planned for Jurassic park, but we never saw them in the movie. And if it comes down to it, it could be the troodon from Jurassic park the game, perhaps they’re trying to bring Dino’s from that game into the cannon?
Looking a it it looks to big for a troodon in Jurassic park the game they were small compared to raptors I think It might be raptor or something bigger

So glad to see a woman of color as the main character! I have three burning questions about Dr. Maya Joshi: 1. Will we get to see Maya's girlfriend at the end of the game when she inevitably escapes the island? 2. Will we see a flashback scene of Henry Wu taking credit for Dr. Maya Joshi's work of bringing the dinosaurs back to life or will it just be talked about? 3. Can we get a hint as to who the white male antagonist will be in this game? So excited for this game.
It does look very promising but that alpha footage was just too short and too inconclusive to make any decent assumptions about whether it will look good, or function well or not. The cinematic was fantastic and bodes very well. Can't wait for a release date.

Can't wait to play this game! I'm pissed off that JP Classic Collection wasn't release on Switch here in Japan... I wasted 5,000yen on a Switch gift card... but looks like I need to buy a PS5 now. ALSO - i'm suprised you haven't covered Godzilla Minus One AT ALL this past month, especially with how well it's doing Internationally! The opening scene is a direct refernce to JP while other to Jaws. Yamazaki definitely took loads of inspiration from Speilberg's films in many sequences. Check it out if you haven't already dude! They are even playing it with English subs at select cinemas in Japan!!!
Something I don't see a lot of people mentioning, it's by saber interactive who were responsible for the Crysis 1,2, and 3 remasters. Who knows. Hoping they lean into the alien isolation helplessness vibe
I could see this game taking a Little Nightmares (1) approach, where you don’t have any weapons but you find some way to kill off some foes. Of course you can’t kill everything because canon but I could see something like the dilo dying.
I'm a little bit dissapointed that it seems like there wont be much shooting/fighting like a usual survival game, but thats just me. I am definitely hyped for it though! also maybe the mystery slash could be allosaurus? the allosaurus sequencing was nearly finished in the events of jurassic park
The Velociraptor in the freeze is going to be the lead raptor the clever girl from the first film and eat the worker when he opened the gate. In the film the freezer has a safety release inside so if anyone gets trapped they can get out again. The safety release in the freezer is a push release which is shown in the film so the Velociraptor would have push the machoism from pushing at the door enough
I had a feeling when they tried to shut down the fan game jp operations that they had something like this in mind, but I wasn’t sure they would actually do it or if it was simply to stop people from misusing their brand. Glad to see I was right about the former!
Im hoping this is a alien isolation meets dying light style game where the dinosaur behavior changes based on weather and time but always a danger to you.
Can't wait for this! The graphics look really good and unfortunately I won't be able to play it as I play on xbox one but i hope you guys enjoy it. It would be very cool if there were some new dinosaurs or even some things that dinosaurs that didn't appear on screen in the movie but we know they were there. Like baryonyx, herrerosaurus, carnotaurus or metricanthosaurus for example. But again, this looks really good and I'm sure it will be in its own way
I really hope this is open world and not too linear. I would love to be able to explore all the locations from the film and even those not in the film, i.e. the hotels and guest areas. I would also love for some animals that are cannon to the series but never made it onto film like the Metriacanthosaurus and Segisaurus to make an appearance.
The claw mark can be METRIACANTHOSAUR, PROCERATOSAURUS, BARYONYX OR SUCHOMIMUS as these dinosaur are mention in JP movie in dna but schomimus was planed in the idea of the JP
