@@superior_guardian don't be ridiculous, Superman has suffered loss on numerous occasions and yet his goal of protecting humanity still remains. While I do enjoy the injustice comics, the portrayal of Superman is so one dimenionally evil that any Superman fan would know that its pretty bs. Plus it occasionally reads as being more Batman worshipping. Its sad that so many peoples only knowledge of Superman's comic book appearances is Injustice. He isn't an arsehole, in fact batman is the arsehole. Superman's your best friend, Batman's a guy who acts like a dick to those around him because his parents died.

@Mooa El no, Batman's portrayal is much more realistic of man’s nature. ”When you stare into the abyss...” and all that Superman on the other hand in most comic portrayals, is a one-dimensional goody too shoes. It gets stale fast. You can see how loss affects Batman and drives him and the deep connection he has with people. Superman just brushes it off no biggie la la la I'm so happy and good. Now the show Smallville did a really good job of humanizing Superman and pointing out the sometimes Self-righteous attitude he would have. Also, it would not be a stretch to see that self-righteous attitude lead to a tyrannical Superman by becoming so bent on saving humanity from itself.
