With all of the abilities, yes, but the concept (getting your best players out there) works in Regs. I'm a pretty sweaty competitive Regs player and I've been doing this for years. Big difference having your best blockers, hardest hitters, etc on the field. I use the Eagles pretty much exclusively and the depth chart is entirely set up for special teams. When I come out in onside kick recover I have a wall of Swift, Smith (WR5), Slay (SS2), and Brown (WR3).. WR3 is the back guy who recovers 95% of the onside kicks, so I always put my biggest/best WR there. I get a laugh everytime my opponent picks onside kick and then sees a wall of 2 X-Factors and 2 Super stars lol. And for regular returns/coverage it's basically all of the same positions Zan mentioned. TE2 and TE3 are the wings on returns, so I put my LT and RT at those spots. CB3 and CB4 are the outside wings on coverages so usually just your two fastest DBs. All three back up linebackers are on the coverage team -- so put your best DEs and LBs there. And then both back up safety spots, SS2 and FS2. And if you don't want to mess up your defensive depth chart too much, just rotate all of the starters a position as backups. Example: Say you're the 49ers.. leave Bosa at RE1, but then make him the back up at ROLB2. Leave Warner at MLB1, but make him the back up at LOLB2, etc. That way they stay in place on defense, but then you have Bosa and Warner running down on kick coverage to destroy people. You'll definitely have to do some tweaking and then auto subbing once you move people around -- I have to put Smith and Brown back into good spots so they aren't wasted at WR3 and WR5 -- but it's very simple you get used to it quickly. Easiest way is to just go to practice mode, watch the replay of a couple of kickoffs, note who is on the field, then go into the depth chart and replace those guys accordingly.
