After a long search for the best LCD writing tablet / blackboard for use at work, home, and school, I decided to get the Xiaomi Mijia LCD Blackboard Writing Tablet. Out of all of the LCD writing tablets that I found this one had the best design and has all of the features that I was looking for in a writing and art tablet.
It has a sleek and minimal design that fits into any modern aesthetic. It also features simple to use functions as well as an amazingly affordable price compared to others in it's category. The Xiaomi Mijia LCD Blackboard Writing and Art Tablet is by far the most accessible LCD tablet that I have found.

If this thing was capable of earasing mistakes, instead of erasing the entire display, it'd be the best by far. But its a little hard to overlook that fact for me lol.

I would like to confirm this is indeed the best writing tablet. Sadly, it's not offered in my country so I had to purchase it from abroad, it got held up at customs and I had to pay double the cost just for clearance. So when I felt like purchasing a second, the second time around I settled for another brand that was offered locally. And let me tell you... the local one looks and feels so cheap that I want my money back. This one truly exudes quality.

@@iwanbulajic2 I still use it, I even bought a second one. I'm a teacher so I use one with my students and I have a second one at home with to-do lists for the day. I don't know about any apps but I sometimes do take pics of the board with my phone before erasing, and that works fine for me. I'm very happy with the quality, I have tried 3 different brands and this is the best.

I honestly don't know why you would ask about the other brands, considering I just said they were a lot worse :D One of them was rather a children's toy. It leaves a trace in all colours of the rainbow. For me that's fine since I'm a teacher and give it to 5-year-olds to learn the alphabet. The other was very bad quality and the pen was made of plastic with rough edges that scratched my fingers. I would suggest just googling what is offered in your country and choose the best.

There is not, I just mark through things when I don’t want to keep them. It does have a lock function on the side where you don’t have to worry about erasing while you’re writing though.

No. It's one of the reasons it's so cheap. You pay a lot more for models with partial erase.

When writing and you place your palm on the screen as you write, does the screen mark it like it's a pen?( Meaning it leaves a mark). Seems the boogie board does.

Yes the joy app should as long as it is the blueish green writing color. When the Xiaomi is sold out the link will take you to my next favorite LCD writing tablet.

Hi. I bought this one (bought three actually) and one of them doesn't erase - did that a few times and just stopped. I replaced the battery and still nothing (the erasing option is unlocked). Do you have an idea how I could fix it?

How was it after a year? I just changed mine's button battery after a year because I noticed the writings became harder to erase like, you need to press the erase button a couple of times to completely clear it and the greenish "ink" color became more on the brownish side or like it's loosing its "ink." After battery replacement I still don't see that green bright tint compared to when it's still new.

mine are all like this. I have 3 10in (for my kids) and a 20in, after a year I had to press the erase button a couple of times until it clears so I thought maybe it's time to change the batteries but they're still the same.

I bought this. It is sturdy but quite heavy. Also it is too smooth to write on. It feels more like glass than paper which gives you less control. I had a cheaper one once, that felt more like paper. Also the "pressure sensitivity" is no more than other lcd tablets. I just want to inform you all because I bought three and now I wish I'd only bought one...

The app is called Jot, and it saves it as a photo file to whatever device you are using. It is very easy to use you just open the app and hold it over the tablet and it does the rest for you.

Hello, that is not possible on this tablet or most LCD tablets under the $100 price range. There is one offered by boogie board but it gets mixed reviews on whether or not it erases properly.

Alexandre Oliveiras Awesome questions! You cannot recharge it, but the battery can be replaced and the battery will last a very long time. Some people have said that it lasts over a year before you have to change it. It is not possible to erase without erasing the entire screen. You have to first scan it in using the Jot app before you can see it on a PC.
