How does the overall size compare to the barrister? They look pretty much the same

Liz, I'm very interested in the Doctor's bag. (I would like to use it, similar to a duffle, where it's a weekender carry all. Even though my laptop will fit in there are you satisfied with the width of the bag and the amount of space (It's only 15 or 16 inches long). Do you use it to carry a couple of days of clothes with a toiletries pouch too? Really appreciate your input and opinion. thank you. (Mike in Ohio)
