The lego icons titanic is longer than the super star destroyer by 11cm. Also the millennium falcon is currently the 5th largest lego set of all time behind the world map, Eiffel Tower, titanic and colosseum.
If they were in Scale which is not possible but if it was possible for them to be in Scale every other Lego set that aren't the Death Stars would be Microscopic in comparison to the Executor
@@TaunTaunTundra4477not really, unless the Executor was smaller than the new midi-scale version, a regular Star Destroyer would be visible to the human eye.
@@mreggs3731 Yes the Star Destroyers to, I should have mentioned them but even they are still tiny in scale next to the Executor even though they aren't Microscopic in comparison
I feel like a lot of the rogue one/solo era stuff is under appreciated. I loved the AT-hauler and mag train kits, and the U-wing is one of my favourite modern lego kits so far
I feel the same, the Rogue One and Solo figs from those sets are top notch. Too bad those were during my dark age and now they go for big bucks. And the new Ashoka figs are great, can't wait for them to release. They need to make more from the Kenobi series and Jedi Fallen Order.
@@matth3wc i worked at a hardware store with a small toy section at the time, so i managed to snag them on clearance around christmas. and agreed, some of the new ashoka sets look great!
I don’t know why, but when it comes to nostalgia for me, nothing beat looking into the catalog in 2008 and seeing the original death star I probably cried for that thing for a week and then got over it because I knew I wasn’t gonna get it 😂😂
My favorite Lego Star Wars set was the LAAT and AT-OT and I asked for it for Christmas this year but it’s 2000$ and even separate each vehicle is over 200$ making it one of my favorite sets because of its size and just the overall feel of it.
Great video! It's relative and for each his own but I apreciate the work it took to make the content! That pod race is one of the sets I'm missing! That Sebulba's pod is just amazing! Thanks
The thing I love the most about the razor crest set is it's play feature. If you throw it down a flight of stairs it explodes just like it did in the show
Haha nice, I'm jealous! :P That's the one set I always wanted as a kid and never ended up getting. 2006-2010 was my LEGO Star Wars phase, at least I got the 2007 MTT and the 2008 Gunship from this video. :D
I gotta say the cloud city for 2003, i fucking adore that set and not for the minifigures, but the build is just perfect and I'm actually building it myself cause it genuinely looks so amazing, especialy for a playset of a building. which we need more set like, almost like the recent yavin 4.
Dude! You where born in 2004? I was born in 1997 but I know we could hangout for hours discussing legos/games from then. I've got a brothers born in 99 and 02.
if you do one of these again, i reckon just leave the ucs sets out of it. (not including ucs playsets like ewok village ect) you can't really compare a ucs at-at meant for display to a playset at-at. the ucs will be a lot bigger therefore you can have more detail
I gotta admit, I am incredibly jaded towards modern Lego (anything after '09, but IMO they started fell off after '02), but even I gotta admit the minifigure scale UCS AT-AT is Top 10 Lego Sets Ever.
Honestly feels like such a cop-put to choose the UCS sets. Like, of course, they are the best, but like you left out microfighters and buildable figures in your worst ones you should’ve left out UCS in this one.
you should get it if its at your taste (and if your comfortable with spending that much). Especially since its probably retiring this year. Him hating on it is just a really hot take
Me being born in 2005 and having a HUGE recent love to the HAVw A6 Juggernaut "Clone Turbo Tank" I can standby what you picked for 2005! Also I was surprised for 2018 pick, considering it was the worst year for lego star wars.
I disagree with the 75054 Imperial AT-AT being the best playset version of that walker. I think the next one they brought out, 75288, improves upon it incrementally in every way. I bought 75054 very near its retirement and what seemed like very little time later, 75288 was announced and I was kicking myself in the butt for not waiting. They were actually 6 years apart, but it felt muuuuuch shorter to me.
I don’t like the fact that for some years, it’s all ucs sets, I mean there great but that’s their goal but do regular sets, yk ones people can afford and not just collectors
So I still have every set of legos that lego had out from my child hood with all the figures how do I know their worth anything? I have the first snowspeeder with ecobase all the way to the attack of the clones
unopular opinion: I dont really like printed pieces, because if you wanna build sth else with that piece that has a printing on it, it will look weird. thus I actually prefer stickers, couse you either include it in your set, or you can remove it and just use that piece for sth else.
However stickers will dry out and make the set look terrible if you want to keep it as a decoration. Stickers will also cause ugly color difference between pieces over a longer time and are a lot harder to align than a pre-printed part. I personally wish every sticker out there would be swapped for printed pieces, which would also add to the value of a set due to the unique prints on certain parts.
It's one of the two sets in this list that I actually own, as well as the Republic Attack Gunship from 2008. The MTT is to this day still the only LEGO set I've got sitting atop a shelf as a decoration piece. Been sitting in that same spot for 16 years...
Five lonely clones: The turbo tank is the best set of 2005 Meanwhile on the most overrated set video: Turbotank is overrated!!!! The ARC 170 is better!! (Also its a joke so dont takie it seriously bc i saw some people do that)
Keep inflation in mind, so for example 90 dollars for the pod race set in 1999 is around 164 dollars in todays money but still that is a pretty okay price for the amount of stuff you get
