LED replacement bulbs are great, but we can easily say headlights like the XBs will blow those upgrades out of the water. If you want a budget-friendly upgrade, the SV4 and GTRs are the way to go. If you have some money to spend and really want the best - XB LED Headlights are the answer.
Shouldn't - Honda is really good about compatibility with LEDs. We can't promise this, though. Haven't had an overseas car in the studio for confirmed testing.
On a 10th gen Civic it doesn't matter because the headlight assembly has a built-in DRL. However, on something like my 9th gen Civic which uses the high beam at ~30% brightness as a DRL, they all should, but it depends. Every vehicle is different, because it depends on the voltage of the DRL. The DLR on the S-V.4 for example only works down to 9V I believe, so if the voltage of your car is less than that you might run into issues, or it just won't work.
@@HeadlightRevolution Indeeed, i shouldn't. And you guys are doing great demonstrating why headlights should be leveled properly. The only problem is that i'm now contemplating wearing sunglasses at night (j/k), so this tells me that even if the number of led misaligned headlights were small, there's already too many of them right now. That said, when i see brighter and brighter led bulbs out there, all i can think of is another possible nuisance. On another note, keep up the good work. I really enjoy the thorough reviews that ya'll put out.
