Not at all. All you need is the timing n the skill to use.. If i see valir in the enemy team all you need is patience for him to use his skills. When it's on cooldown it's way too easy to kill. Personally with me if i see a good valir in enemy hero i track him everytime and wait for my time to ult him
True af, more than his damage the slow and the DOT is painful af, like, bro just LET me go. As a fighter/assassin, I'm doing all calculation to find a opening but this dude with his purify ult and gtfo-of-my-face skill 2 literally spoil everything.
I'm an Edith player and I just miss out on teamfights (Clearly a very big Mistake) Just so I can attack Their backline if there's a valir, Cause there's a high chance the Valir already used up all his skills in the middle of the teamfight, and it surprisingly works.
IDK why, but playing valir gives the vibes of being a psychopath. Your opponents try to kill you, but all their efforts go in vain, and you slowly start to expunge the life out of them as they try to run away, but all they do is helplessly wiggle around. Good valir completely dominates his enemies, with little chance for a pushback. They can't fight back, they can't run away, just watch themselves burn slowly.

True he have few extremely annoying counters,but it's only 3 really counters. Mia late game,Argus little late,Wangwan. Others you can over smart. Camp for wasting skills,delay use skills in ult atd, or finish game very quickly. In solo rank not full 5 counters for good keep yin not feeded. I am feeded in all ranks. In bad situations or good situations. Rule 0: Try pick Yin last. 1. Rule for Yin Never pick Yin,if enemy pick Mia. (If is team bad and you not finish game,Mia is ultra counter) Rule 2. Be extremely smart in picking heroes to domain. Rule 3. Not use always all skill fast in domain. Against blinking heroes use later. With Blood axe you can heal all HP fast. XP tip: Rule 4: in Earl try harass strong fighters with 1+( 2 for leave). And wait to half HP for last 1+2+ult+ fast 2+1. Dead. Like jungle focus on farm and objectives primarily,sometimes if see free kills,pick him. And Last if enemy pick Estes Yin give him Yinfobia.😂😂

Nana was probably picked first then someone Picked Cyclops and Harley. Out of those 3 Nana has the best kit to be the Roamer. Happens to me a lot of times.
It's kinda strange that Valir is not being picked anymore, even at lower ranks, i've been on a Rank grind and yeah, no signs of any Valir users. And as a Fighter and Assassin main, im actually happy that valir wasn't being picked. 😅😆 Finally got to Legend but the struggle begins cuz i really to experience to be in Mythic, and my friends and classmates are speedrunning to get there. 💀
I'm a big beto fan. Learnt a lot from him but his valir is a bit rusty. Too many first skill miss coz of minions also valir can stun really bad if u land your first and 2nd skill well
There are a ton of counters to yin. Martis, thamuz, terizla, lunox, karrie, valir, aldous, argus, sun, jawhead. Hell, even balmond can be a counter to yin. And sometimes assassins like alucard, ling, and hayabusa as well. Among marksmen, wanwan really excels against him. And edith ofcourse is too tanky for him.
Valir is the most annoying mage if you're playing a melee hero (imo). Second would be a competent xavier, he'll lock you in place all the time during a teamfight
@@Shaggybangs i don't encounter lylia that much tho, maybe cause my rank is still low (legend)? And lylia i dont find lylia to be as annoying as xavier or valir (imo) Same with yve. I dont encounter many yve jn my rank and i still find valir more annoying to deal with. Gord, ive seen some here and there. As a tank he can melt my hp if im not careful but since most of them dont built defensive item, they can be burst down quite fast unlike valir who most likely have 2 - 3 defensive item

She's the reason why I make it to mythic every season and my wr is 71% with her (solo). Tho it's true she and yve aren't picked much below mythic and the ones who picks them are usually not that good with em.
Question betosky, if you're a mid laner is it really necessary to roam? Because if you did there's a lot of minion and gold that can be wasted in the mid lane once you roam. Thank you in advance.
I am not Betosky, but I think I can answer ur question as a player who usually plays the midlane. Mages don't always have to roam as it can be a waste of time, like, you roam to another lane only to get killed is an example, but roaming to another lane and u help ur team secure an objective (turret) and maybe also a kill is very beneficial not js for u but ur team as well. Mages can provide good cc skills and damage output. Also, some mages can provide vision which is crucial when it comes to achieving victory. But, remember that u r also responsible for ur own lane which is the midlane and do ur best to always clear minions waves, last hitting minions, and not having any of ur turrets destroyed. I hope that answers ur question!
I mean u should look for Ur counter part ..... Move Ur steps according to enemy mage .. mages have early game advantage with cc and AOE damage... So Ur fighter and mm will have hard time if u don't rotate to their lane but enemy mage went there for assistance... If u rotate with Ur enemy mage then both opponent and u will lose the equal amount of minions which will keep the farm balance...
I recommend doing quick and fast ganks. Maybe poke the enemy mm while the minions in mid are still coming down the lane. Make them low so your jg can finish them off easier. Force them to recall etc. Missing a couple minions out is OK if you can get a kill or two from the ganks you are gonna do or significantly slow down enemies' farm.
Beto, War Axe is really, *really*, GOOD on Ruby now. 12% Spellvamp, HP, CDR, and that overpowered passive. When she couldn't even stand againdt Thamuz back then, now the True DMG lets her have a chance. She's really, really good now. Oftentimes thats the only attack item I build on Ruby, and I still deal enough dmg.
Lower down the music pls? Every time u talk the music go low but ur voice volume is lower .. is annoying i have to press volume up and down every time the music come back louder then ur voice 🙁 IS NOT THE SAME LEVEL VOLUME!
Bruh Yin is literally the trashiest hero in solo rank. Every time my or enemy team picks him,I know who's gonna lose. It's the team with a Yin on it. This guy literally doesn't do anything in teamfights,moreover he's not a sure hit kill like Saber either. Saber easily goes to the backline but that's not the same with Yin. This guy gets f**ked up even before he can take somebody in his domain apart from some exceptional Yin users ofc. And even if they DO get them inside their domain,you can't say surely that he'd succeed cz of the vast amount of ways you can counter him. If you invade Yin's jungle with some early aggressive heroes,he's helpless asf. He can't even contest. Literally one of my most hated heroes in the game. Only works Below Legend/Legend+ rank where people don't know how to counter his @$$.
Yin's kryptonite isn't valir It's any spell in the game Inspire to kill him before he kills you but you're probably a mm with won already Maybe not retri or revitalize Aegis and vengeance to just tank it(vengeance does it better tho, either way a good yin with an adjusted build can shred through vengeance either way so be careful) Sprint just lets you walk away Same with flicker (although most yins will wait for you to flicker first or bait you out with the stun or might even just go straight to first skill since most players wait to get stunned before using them) Same with purify Execute is just useless, don't use this spell unless you're kagura and even then flameshot is better Although the greatest enemy to yin's ult is... Le drumroll Walking away before his ult If you have a quick blink, use it the second you see the ult mark, preferably to your allies but anywhere works If you have a way to survive his initial onslaught, he still has quick burst of damage with his first skill and don't forget people will be waiting for you after you've been ulted The reason you walk away is you don't reappear where yin is, you reappear where you disappeared before you enter his ult, after that honestly there isn't much he can do other than retreat or overextend for the kill Edit: if you're talking about heroes, I'd say it's either wanwan, lunox, cici, thamuz, and the top 3 hardest heroes for yin to deal with, claude with purify, estes with purify and xavier with any mobility spell/purify Not only can he just move away from the ult, but if he does land an immobilize right before your ult ends, it stays even when you're out All either too fast or too tanky to kill
Ruby is a must-ban right now and I'm not even joking. And it is because the stats on war axe is pretty stupid. It's basically the bloodlust axe, but better. It gives bloodlust's cdr and lifesteal, with the added bonus of true damage. There's literally no reason for anyone to buy bloodlust axe right now. Sometimes I wonder what moonton devs are smoking when making all these changes in the game
Man, I love playing against a Valir(Cecilion/Novaria main). As a Cecilion, he pushes me away to the perfect attack range and is usually the main cause of death for his team because of that. Then, as a Novaria, my favourite thing to do is poke him for no reason with my balls. Am I killing him? No. Is it useful? Kind of. Is it fun, and does it give my team vision? Hell yeah! But he's also the main reason I stopped playing close range characters in classic, man he's so irritating to deal with...
The most annoying mage in the land of dawn, charge at him = he removes cc and u get KB by his second skill, bush camping fails cus he removes cc and spams so much, his hp is also quite high. His only weakness = suppressed if u can get him + surrounded from all sides, or anything that can outrage him like some mms, healing heros can counter him if they have alot of mobility such as ruby, thamuz, bene, and gato. Honestly it's his removes cc that makes him super hard to kill, but he's vulnerable while it's on cooldown
I LOVE valir and vale. Best mages for me. My best fighter is ruby, they've done well with improving her life steal. She's pretty much a tank with the right build.
Yeah that is actually a good question, why people play Nana as a roamer? Its just usless, cant even tank or do anything against decent enemy line up. And they just build her as "carry" -.-
I main 2 mage. Valir and Xavier. If I see the enemy comp doesn't have any hero that can easily penetrate the backline, I will use Xavier, otherwise I use Valir.
Actually downgall of Valir is You can't get hime as first pick, if u do it, there is lot of counter for him. Never pick Valir until enemy pick their mage.
I have been spamming Yin on rank whenever enemy team (especially Nana users out there) picks Nana to counter them because my team I get is too noob to counter enemy Nana users and they really hate it and likewise whenever Yin is banned, its guarantee that there is at least 1 or 2 or more of them are Nana spammers afraid of Yin. To make every Nana users even more rage quit is by target locking them doing skill 1+ flicker+ pull inside of his domain ult trick combo, and then always waste or trigger their molina gift passive or immortality passive if they have it and proceeds to kill them while inside of domain and then they will afraid to even approach me while doing the same thing against them.
Just bought Valir didn’t realize how fun he is to play. He’s always down for a fight and I’ve definitely already stolen a few lords and turtles with flickering in lol

Right now , helcurt is best to play. He can melt squishy from early to late with no problem and can melt tanky from mid game to late. Immune to cc also he is the only hero to nullify Franco suppression with his passive
When you saw nana in a team but have a mage already it’s either they only know that hero or they’re trolling. I don’t know why nana mains keep insisting they want to use nana like, can they adjust!? They’re literally annoying.
I use Zhask whenever I see opponent pick Yin. Yesterday he kidnapped me and he got killed. The second time he kidnapped me, he still couldnt so he only do a crying emoji whenever he sees me and kidnaps our mm instead lmao
At 9:15 Popol could have easily ended the game with hidžs pushing ability but he sees everyone is snow balling and his low iq forces him to go for kills instead and die 😂
I just hate valir with a passion, he is so annoying they need to nerf his cd rest, like maybe after hitting the same enemy 3 times, he doesn't get full reset, but half a refund instead 😭 its just not fair once he get ice queen hes untouchable
I think the reason valir not picked oftem bcs most player wanted kills and using valir is so hard to get kills since his dmg is dps low but consistent here the example where mathilda keeps on gettin the kills unintentionally
Honestly I'm not concerned about valir in this video but I'm very happy to see Mathilda getting picked and banned these days people almost forgot but now I see her getting picked and used .... I'm sohappy😊😊😊
