Growing up I was enamoured by Zane Greys iconic book 'Tales of an Anglers Eldorado' in which he describes his adventures to New Zealand, discovering a fishery so pristine that it was the stuff that dreams were made of. Reading his stories I always felt a tinge of sadness that I would never have the opportunity to experience a fishery like that... That is until I went to the Wanganella Banks.
The week we're going back, back to the hallowed waters of the Wanganella Bank, on a journey to the anglers Eldorado! #builttofish

Did any one lure out perform the others, or were they they all similar in terms of attention? Awesome filming.

They all seemed to work well mate. Lumo coulours were deadly early in the morning and at sunset. Probably the best performing lure overall was that Bonze Undertaker I show during the film.

Dream spot. Awesome way to kill sometime while in isolation. Heard so much about the wanganella banks. Living the dream there mate. Well done

Amazing footage man, well done. Would of been full on fishing, filming and trying to tick so many other boxes during the trip. Your weather window looked incredible, what time of year? Many other boats up there?

Hey mate, certainly was a mission ticking all the boxes! That was in May and yeah we struck gold with the weather. Were a couple of other rec boats up there too.

Guys count me in next year. Lol what spectacular fishing. That week gives you a lifetime of marlin fishing experience. Edit some good music in here and there and it would be an award winning video. Enjoyed it, definitely on my bucket list.
