I random fell into seafood running a full service case and the butcher next to me got me excited about meat cutting so i pivoted to that an never looked back but the pay in Indiana is a kick to the famoly jewels every check!
Such a beuatiful shop! I miss working the meat case! Im sick of/love the grocery store grind but i much prefer being able to connect with the customer while working.
Thats how meat should be packaged! Ive been fighting for 3 years to do our freezer bundles wrapped with butcher paper for less freezer burn but im only able to double wrap our styrofoam packages. Im sure folks get a ton of freezerburn.
