No front, but this 'why u suck at pull-ups' guide is full - and when I say full I mean only consisting of - spelling errors. It's hard to even get the gist of some sentences. Would recommend you to read through it again and maybe correct the errors.
I can do one arm push-ups full range of motion with good form with my left arm but I can't with my right arm even tho it's noticably more muscular Imma blame it on my scoliosis
I wanna take Calisthenics training to Africa coz many people there still thinks fitness is all about lifting weights in the gym. This channel has helped me progress so fast in my training and I am monitoring my progress in my own channel. Thanks Austin for the good work
That should motivate you even more! Same thing in Algeria, I have couple of friends that saw me doing crazy skills like front lever etc. And saw my gains, that I made them start calisthenics
First time ever seing this video. I wondered if i can do 1 arm push up in correct form... (84 kg, around 18% body fat, and 6/7 times gym session weekly) I fucking did it !! I actually did 3 in a row :)
This guy shows whats the purpose of every device. And shows the path for single arm. He doesnt shows just workout he shows methods for reaching one arm push up or pull up. Everytime when I walkinh near a landing I m wondering for what are most of devices and this dude showed me. Great job broo well done
I got really good with the archer pull ups has a lot of benefits it’s easier for me because it fixes my imbalances. Now I’m able to do 1 arm pull ups. Now I’m doing archers with weight really helpful
I can do one arm push ups and pistol squats but I'm definitely not stromg enough yet to do one arm pull ups but you inspired me to do more one arm stuff and get stronger
omg i watched this over and over and did all the training over and over and i gotta say, this is one of the best tutorial wokrout sections i ever watched and done in my life, great video
Austin I wanna let you know that I’m going to surpass you one day, but I also wanna let you know that you inspired me to be better. Now I’m just a skinny kid in high school (skinny but toned y’know). I’m puttin in this work and it’ll pay off one day. I don’t have anyone in my corner pushing me so it’s all me myself and I and God. That’s all I need to be better than what I am now, it’s only a matter of time. Thx AD🙌🏾
" why you suck at pull ups" lol. Hey Austin Dunham. I wanted to take a minute and write to you. I have not watched alot of your videos but I'm going to start. I also am going to take your workout advice and starting applying it. I use to watch Chris herra but after I watch your video on him it changed my outlook on him. Thanks Austin for this video and the ones I'll watch in the future. Your Rock Austin. Thx again.
When practicing OAPull ups, i suggest start doing close grip pull ups then use a resistance band with the band in the same position of your pulling hand and just lower one of your assisting hand in the resistance band which will actually mimic doing the real OAP which actually helped me achieve it. Now if you’re strong enough and training for OAP reps, you could do OAP with the assisted arm on your shoulder.
Austin do you think training to failure is the way to go with calistenics or should one leave one or two in the tank and focus more on total volume and frequency. For example, 5 sets of pullups to failure every 5 days or 8 sets leaving a couple in the tank every fourth day? I find if i go to failure I can't even do what I did the previous workout 3 days later
Gave you a thumbs up as you even went to the trouble of using a drone to shoot the calisthenics park from above... but I would have liked to ideally see some evidence (a citation) for your suggestion that changing how you leverage your weight is the BEST method.
This is my biggest problem. I've gained muscle doing calisthenics and weight training, but my strength is still not where I want it to be at all. There is so much emphasis on hypertrophy and gaining muscle and not nearly enough in strength, which is more important for longevity.
ONE ARM ONE LEG PUSH UP, PAVEL NAKED WARRIOR STYLE. THATS WHAT YOUR ULTIMATE PUSH UP VARIATION SHOULD BE. Hardest one arm Push up variation. Because you can't do it unless your torso is parallel to the floor. You are pressing 60 percent of your body weight each arm, if form is perfect. Like regular push up you can do your varying degree of incline or decline one arm one leg push ups. Look it up on strongfirst. One arm pull up and one legged squats are best yes. You can do them weighted, by hanging a weight from the non working arm. A suitcases perhaps? Or multiple suitcases. Loaded of course.
