I'm so excited to finally find someone who has read & revied S! I have it but haven't read it yet. I found it used really cheap, without the slipcover but with all the stuff (previously a library book which is funny considering its also meant to be a library book) a few years ago. I love looking at it but kinda had a feeling the story would be more meh than anything from the one try I did give it. I still can't wait to read it when I finally have the focus & concentration for it (& am outta my reading slump) though. I love your idea for something like it but a more engaging haunted house mystery discovering family secrets & seeing the pics & documents (I'm into genealogy, solved a few of my own family mysteries using it & so that idea really intrigues me!). Books based around tarot cards are also fun & could make a fun interactive experience. Oh oh oh... imagine a really good witchy book with all sorts of fun stuff like BOS pages & stuff. There are so many ways it could be done! I'm with you, I dream of more interactive books with great plots & props (I collect all that I can find). I'd love to create one myself someday, it seems like it'd be a really fun experience.. I'm telling you right now, if you were to create one, I'd buy it in an instant! I've also had the idea of somehow turning the experience into a solo rpg, taking it even further with the interaction. Maybe mixing it with the general idea of something like De Profundis by Michał Oracz (a horror rpg played through writing letters) (It ties in with the idea I've had for solo rpg based around props). It's an idea I think you could also have fun with (if you do, please share your ideas!! Wow, this got looong.., you got my creative jucis flowing!
Yeah! I think its worth it because of the experience but I wish it was more engaging overall. And Gosh, so many great ideas! I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes the idea of doing this for different things. The BOS and Tarot ideas and the TTRPG are all such good ideas. I keep wanting to write spooky witchy haunted house stories and this would be such a cool way to do it. I just dont know the logistics of actually doing something like this. Thanks so much for sharing all of your cool ideas! If you ever make something like this let me know! And I'm sure I'd be sharing it left in right if I end up doing it!
@TatyanaVogt i had to get a bunch of sticker books for them because there were so many! I use them in journaling but still cant seem to use them enough 😅
Yeah, its hard to find. Its got two authors for this one I believe, can't think of them both off of the top of my head, But the book Link is in the video description as usual so you should be able to find the authors there. Hopefully that helps.
