I just replaced my reverse lights yesterday after watching it (x2) the other day. Took me less than 12 mins from start to finish. I was amazed on how easy it was to replace and finish it so quick!. (Thanks to you). These Lasfit LED light upgrade are awesone!. Ordered and got it the same day through Amazon. Thanks man!. Your videos honestly helped me lot with troubleshooting and upgrading my 99' LX. Cannot thank you enough. More power to you. Keep making videos man.
Thanks again for the video. I have a 2005 and the back up lights are right beside the license plate so they are not easy to get to as the previous years. You have to contort to try and get them. Looks like a great upgrade but a pain for the newer models. Might try the tail light bulb upgrade.
We’ll that sucks. I bet LED tail lights would be beneficial and and inexpensive way to update these vehicles. I’m going to look for a license plate LED upgrade too.
I have a 2006..LX. I'm so confused now. Thought the back up light were on the sides of the license plate. i just purchased Lafit lights for them. Can you offer any guidance? Hope I didn't mess up.
I have a 2003 lx470 and the reverse lights are on either side of the license plate. It takes a different size bulb than the tail/break lights. W16W equivalent led. Mine has the same as what you showed but no bulb in the top portion, only bulb in the bottom. Stupid design. Thanks for the video.
My LX came with all LED bulbs everywhere. Love it, they are killer. But I'm going to order these backup bulbs and give them a try. Too bad Lasfit doesnt have all of the bulbs listed on their website. They dont even have the Land Cruiser listed. You're going to need to throw your weight around over there and make that happen. : )
@@LXPlore I assume mine won’t last forever. So it would be nice to have a list of what bulbs go where. I guess the bulb number might be the same, so when I have a bulb go, I can just pull it to check the number.
BOOM.! Perfect timing for a great upgrade - is an upgrade brake light recommended at the same time? OEM brake lights are good but maybe Lasfit has a better bulb..?
Got my order in…! Quick question regarding your headlight video.. I want to do the same headlight upgrade with the housing. Did you order the back housing separately from the headlights. I don’t remember if you had a second vid that showed the final housing installation? - I will review your headlight video to glean as much info as I can… Thanks again for taking the time to make content. I can tell you enjoy what you do. Good on ya..!
@@jublejones9983 Thanks for the support! I really do appreciate the feedback. Headlights… I replaced the bulb, however never modified or touched the housing. I did install a larger dust cap though and modified that for the wires.
@@joshuae6405 ahhhh… I got the tailgate insert from Mountain Hatch, here’s a video of my install. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VDj8HQjYUHU.html
@@U.s-epa True… maintenance is top priority! I looked at lighting as being very important, especially since these vehicles are so capable. I appreciate your feed back and your comments. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
@@LXPlore Nah, kinda budget actually. Old Man Emu suspension - deleted AHC. ARB front bumper sahara with winch, Kaiman rear bumper with the box and tire rack. Snorchle, 32" tires on steel 16" rims - (vanilla spare xD - unable to find same rim). CB radio and that's it. Most of that is all second hand. xD I need rocksliders, skidplates, roofrack and ligths. xD cheers! Oh yeah and it's LC100 but lexus, but they are brothers xD
@@LXPlore I love my Toyota Landcruiser. It's a 2000 100 Series. I have a lot of upgrades to go but I am getting there. Thanks for posting all of your videos.
