I remember when Simon first came on the scene, we were all like “who is this German kid” he was like playing a different game than everyone else with his own rules. I really hope his injuries haven’t brought his career to a plateau, because I’ve always wanted to see Simon with some world championships under his belt.
I think the rest of his life has now caught up. With a partner and child I just don't think he has the drive to tour all season and to practice enough to fight for the top spot anymore. I hope I'm proven wrong though
@@shitbird9429 Then he won the next event at Portland open, and finished just a stroke or two behind at the Preserve this weekend. He is argualy playing his best disc golf ever after his injury and toning down the full sends a bit....
Simon's my favorite and got his signature Angry Ape bag as well. He might not win every week or have multiple world titles, but his character, charisma, and just enjoys the game of disc golf is what I enjoy about him.
Simon is my favorite disc golfer and its not even close he has the best disposition of all disc golfers and he can out throw all the other players. His putting is better than its ever been putting is key and Simon is one of the best.
I feel like for Simons sake I should say him and David returned to NV a few years later. They both got a couple over 1000' but David just got the better line, not like he beat simon by 400ft.
They definitely don't throw into a head wind when throwing for distance for world records. Most definitely a cross tail wind. 💯🤙🏽🥏⛓️ Also a better question would have been, What disc do you throw when "your" throwing into a head wind instead of how far can you throw into a head wind? 🧐🧐 Simon: Youuuuu suck. "SORRY" But it's true. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
16:00 he is taking the entire hole out of play. He not only throws past the green but doesn’t lose his disc and has a birdie putt back from out of bounds 20 feet away and doesn’t have to place his first shot. He just blasts it. Brilliant play.
Simon is the goat of trick shot!!Most spectacular player no doubt And that drive on hole 7 at hillcrest was the best that hole has ever seen or will ever seen 😅 to bad he didnt make that first putt
