Joe and Melissa's first 10 minutes in their first episode tells you everything you need to know about them. Joe was drunk off his ass at his own son's christening, then pounding on the table like a toddler and calling his sister garbage. Melissa and her sisters were viciously trashing Teresa. Even if they thought Teresa was being "fake" by congratulating them, at least she was behaving like an adult. That was not the time or place for the Gorgas to engage in such trashy behavior.
Teresa and her husband had a way better relationship with her parents than her own brother and his wife, that was very evident during the christening fight. Melissa was always jealous but it says a lot when not even gorga (the son) has a good relationship with his father BUT Teresa’s husband does.
You evidently have a biased perspective on their relationship. It is quite obvious that Teresa manipulated and altered the relationship between Teresa, Juicy Joey, and their parents.
@@stasiacedillo4033 Her parents were definitely at fault. I mean, everyone plays a role. If you go back to when they introduce Melissa, it is stated that Joey couldn’t keep a fiancé due to how his family treated them.
@@ForeignScammer It’s not bias if it’s true. Melissa said Joe didn’t spend time with his father cause he was too busy. His dad also said he hardly ever called him. Teresa wanted them closer but Melissa hindered that which is why their parents didn’t like her.. on top of talking badly about the family when she first came on the show. There are reasons why they felt the way they did, Teresa just called them out on it.

Teresa has been jealous and in competition with Melissa from day one 😂 Teresa didn't like how fast Joe and Melissa got together. Her and her mother were probably talking shit about Melissa from day one but when they realized Joey Gorga really loved this woman there was nothing they could do. Right! He said that by her telling it like it is can hurt others feelings. Which means he knows that his sister wasn't lying. It's the way she thinks she needs to say anything of how they do it or things or what her opinions are. Sorta of how they all don't like how caroline does the same thing with her own siblings & their partners.

Yeah…. There is a reason why Kathy got FIRED from the series, and has ONLY been invited ONCE, to the Housewives events on BRAVO. But it makes me sick to my stomach that Kathy had to lie about her daughter having a “cerebral tumor” in the hopes of getting re-casted on the show for the following season…. I hope her daughter is doing well btw, assuming it was real (I doubt it). Vicki Gunvalson is somewhere pissed. Melissa has always been a cast member that has been very in favor of what the audience likes. When the “Bravo audience” wanted her (Melissa) to be friendly with Teresa, she totally caved-in, especially after only a couple of seasons because viewers became more aware of Melissa’s intentions. Then once Melissa developed her own fan-base (short-lived) she then began to rebel against Teresa and thus restarted drama yet AGAIN. Literally the internet clowns Melissa. Have you searched her staged video of her “cooking” on RU-vid??? Melissa claims Antonia filmed her by chance, which was later proven as untrue 🤡
Melissa has a slick mouth. And she’s definitely aware of what she’s doing to make Teresa look like a bad guy. In my opinion Melissa is the one looking like she’s trying to compete with Teresa. She even emulates the way she laughs and speaks like Teresa.

Melissa wanted Teresa’s life. PERIOD! She wanted the Gorga name, she wanted her family, and even went behind her back to get on a show SHE was on…..just to BROADCAST the hate she had for her: sad and pathetic those Gorgas (Joe & Melissa) they make that name look bad.
Glad I’m not the only person who saw through Melissa and Joe when they first came on the show. They need to take them off because its doesn’t do Teresa any good.

The ENTIRE Gorga family--parents included--are the reasons the family is so divided. Teresa said it--Melissa wasn't born with a silver spoon in her mouth...strike 1 for Melissa, strike 2 (which Teresa said often) was Melissa wasn't brought up with the "old school, off the boat Italian" mentality. She wasn't even fully Italian (like she claimed she was). Joe Guidice WAS which is why they loved him so much. Teresa put her brother on the pedestal that she should have put her own husband on. Joe Gorga expected to be on that pedestal. They both expected each other's loyalty over their spouses. Melissa was a catty brat...she still is but she's better at hiding it. She definitely twists things but Teresa overstepped boundaries and was too involved in their marriage. Joe doesn't respect women. All I know is, I've watched this franchise since the beginning, and am TIRED of all of the fighting. Recast them already.

What's funny is in her cookbook she says she's old fashioned and didn't live w Joe until she was married, then episode 7 season 14 she says she moved in w Joe and Louie before they were married. This is just 1 example of her lies. I've been dying for someone to make a compilation bc she is such a liar.
I miss THIS Teresa. And as I write this I’m thinking of nene around this time. I miss the old them. More compassionate, softer, but I get ppl evolve, change, etc.
