Yeah such lovely work! Would love to know how that ‘Timelapse’ of the motion hatch build was recorded, was very clean and had some corrections but not all, just very nicely done :-)
i would love to know this to. I can do this in procreate but i only work in the early stages with procreate an mostly i work in illustrator... so i am very curious!
Hi, I'm very embarrassed to ask this, but how do you present yourself after... taking a break from the field for so long. You see, I graduated with a B. A (as a graphic designer) in 2019: around the time the pandemic hit. My professors weren't really the most friendly... it was a very competitive work environment: if your work didn't measure up, you were kicked out. Half of my class was kicked out: I was part of the lucky half... but I didn't feel worthy. Those years drained me: I lost my confidence altogether... I was afraid to search for a job, but then COVID... my family hit tough times. Basically, I have a college grad portfolio... I missed... all those years toiling away at a dead-end part-time job. I"m ashamed of myself...I don't know, I have so much to do. I feel ashamed; I'm afraid people questioning me on my lack of ability, or why it took me so long to get out into the field. How am I supposed to show credibility when I'm nothing more than a sleeper designer that's just waking from a nap. I just feel so overwhelmed... there are so many things I need to relearn. I just don't know how to take the first step and I feel frozen.
Hey! I'm sorry to hear you feel that way, but it's great to hear you're getting back into it! ❤️ If you're looking for some advice, you can build a portfolio with personal projects, and our student Aldo managed to do just this... He was making the type of work he was passionate about on his own time, and managed to put that into an awesome showreel and portfolio, which then attracted those types of clients - so he was doing the work he loved doing! I'd also recommend getting on Linkedin and liking, commenting, sharing some posts and build up a network with other designers! The other thing I'd recommend is... just go for it! Set aside a block of time to do a personal project this week, animate what you want to animate and post it online, on your portfolio etc! Really hope this helps!
i would like to add that please dont think what others will think about you... this is the right time for you to grow, also donot feel ashamed to start again because since you are getting back into design shows how much you really like this obsession!
Amazing website, very aspirational! I love the masterclass work. Could you disclose a very rough ballpark for how long did this project took/number of days quoted?
