Kiive is making some excellent plugins. The Arturia is also good, but I prefer the Red Rock. I had a 33609 for years and sold it when I picked up my Neve BTC console, which has similar FET compressors built-in. IK and McDSP also have contenders. I tried the McDSP and liked it on that particular track. I need to try the Kiive on more sources, but I think I’ll stick with the Red Rock for now for the classic NEVE sound in a plugin. At least until TimP goes after the 33609 full-on.
So now the Kiive logo (and extra functions) are put on products which actually are named Audioscape? 😊. A bit confusing since Audioscape themselves has released several plugins thay Kiive later reproduced. It looks smashing though!
Hey! We actually have been producing and creating all of the Audioscape plugins since they released, we just now sell them on our site, as their site is more focused towards hardware sales! But nothing was reproduced, they're all the originals that Audioscape hired us to create :)
@@whitenoisestudio yeah that's the point. 4-5% is pretty high for 0% OS. This is the reason why I stay away 99% of kiive plugins, because they are pretty unusable esp for live/broadcast use or huge sessions. Gotta make room for higher priority plugins. :)
