Personally i do want Airei and Weinsanto to blow up. Saw them both at dover street market and was so impressed, Airei making some beautifully clever clothes that finds the perfect line between originality and wearability; weinsanto bringing the queer camp aesthetic into again some amazing and desirable clothes, all while pushing an underapreciated community. I also do love taakk a lot, it’s usually really hard for me to actually want to buy clothes, i did a runway for them and wanted to buy everything. It’s not revolutionary or paradigm changing or anything, it’s just beautiful and amazingly crafted clothes

You should check out some young brazilian designers that are shifting things around, specially in this very definitive political moment for our country. Search for: João Pimenta, Felipe Fanaia, Alexandre Pavão and, of course, Airon Martin, head of Misci (he did the styling for the First Lady)

Bianca & Harris are also on my list! I can really see Ludovic de Saint Sernin and Ester Manas having a really big break-out year, with also maybe Thebe Magugu, Peter Do, ROKH, Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, Ca$ablanca all becoming (even) more mainstream.

Love the list! I'm actually in my Juntae Kim Autumn Winter 2023 "Romantic Poetry" Era, like! Since I saw he being recommended Komune's channel Imma little bit obsessed with his brand and the twists he presents in his designs, very very good. Another one that I am very excited is J.E. CAI, the way the brand plays with the idea of uniforms but at the same time customization is actually a paradox and brings the possibility to the user to create their own style within the concept of the brand. It's like those Champion watches that you can change the plastic wristbands but for clothes!

Honourable mention to Heliot Emil - the Copenhagen based brand may have suffered somewhat from the recent downturn of Balenciaga and Ye respectively, as they produce an aesthetic that appeals to the aforementioned narrative - however Sam Ross’s ACW and Matthew Williams’ Alyx offer a similar aesthetic, and their continued success suggests that the minimalist black&white aesthetic is not yet removed from the limelight. Heliot Emil produce some excellent tailoring and are as adept in their accessory design as the current Givenchy - really hope to see them hit the mainstream in a major way this year

Thank you I love fashion, Passion for fashion! Everyday wear is key many couture designs can not be wore everyday they are amazing but are they doable for the everyday client? We are focused on looking our best now, just walk in walmart and you can see people really paying attention to how they dress. IF you look good you feel good, so lets make it affordable! I have so many ideas. The main thing is BE yourself you don't have to look like everyone else bring in your personality to what you wear.

I gasped at the IGO jacket which looks like -- to me, an uncultured swine -- gathered leather. (But I'm assuming its the poly/nylon blend?)
