They are also sold on Amazon as mushroom blending sponge. I have noticed that almost every ink blending brush/sponge is actually a makeup application tool.

@@elizabeth3230 That's exactly what I was thinking. While I like to support craft companies when I can, in today's economy, it's not cost effective when they're the same thing as something like that, a makeup sponge, which is a fraction of the cost.

They're the exact same as Local King Rubber Stamp Magic Mushrooms. I have the magic mushrooms & they're great. I learnt a lot more ways to use them as well from Local King's tutorials.

What a gorgeous card! Opens up so many possibilities to fall in love with my layering dies again if I don't have to cut each little fiddly bit out of different coloured paper. Much less waste! Thank you for sharing. Looks like a fabulous product and I love the way it seems to work with stencils with jagged edges.

I buy similar (no outer case) to these from my £ store about 4 yrs ago, I have 20, they are make up sponges but work great for blending.

While these look very cool, how are they that much different than using a domed foam blender, foam dauber, or even a teardrop makeup sponge and just pouncing? I mean, neat idea, but are they really that different or better?

I guess if you already have those other tools you may prefer to stick with them. I've never used anything other than a traditional ink blending tool, where you have to blend in the circular motion. These are so easy to use compared to those, and they do not tear little die cuts because you dab instead of blend. It depends on what you're looking for I suppose.

Picket Fence STOLE this idea from another small company, Local King Rubber Stamps, who made them over 3 years ago. Shame on them. And then Picket Fence canceled their affiliate link with someone who dared to speak the truth? Karma.......
