the numbers don’t lie. As a DK, with the Torc I have max resists not including the 15% reduction, and like 8.9k pen that I can proooooobably bring down a bit, and then 7k+ wpn/spl. What a fucking mythic bro fr
I finally got the Torq and just built your Sorc! Holy Shit it’s AMAZING. 13-0 my first BG while still getting used to the rotation. My new favorite build and the first pvp build I’ve been good on with Sorc. I’m normally a Warden main - which I would LOVE a Torq build for. THANK YOU!!!
Ha! Just dug this up yesterday after finally getting the leads. I was thinking to run this with my level 3 vamp NB w/ revealing flare slotted. I figure the dmg mitigation must stack.
great commentary, awesome editing, nice pacing and footage! I loved that your toon was blinking, you can probably Kevduit it and swap the still image with other still images of your toon pointing and shrugging every now and again to make it more varied

This was great, entertaining and informative! As far as videos on the torc & each class, however you do it if you do, I'll watch whatever! (It would be interesting to hear your breakdown behind the reasonings in the tier list - dk makes sense, for example, they need ult for sustain). Ever since i saw this mythic in its current form, I've seen it like a 2 bar version of oakensoul in a way (getting damage & armor buff & recoveries), but the torc lets you have 2 bars with it...ive been wanting to try it out, got a nightblade and maybe templar I'd like to try it on.
A friend of mine uses this on magicka necromancer, with deaden pain and mender and every other skill dmg (bar resistant flesh) and he’s unkillable, and his damage is good enough to X average players.
Mr Butt did you see the pts patch notes for today? Slivers of Null Arca: Increased the damage of this set by ~37%, to ensure it is more in line with other sets with similar restrictions and functionality requirements. Unleash the grease

I too have tried all classes on it and imo sorc is by miles the best class for it Then it's cro and warden Then maybe templar Dk and nb not worth at all in my opinion Arcanist is ok but tbh he needs them proc sets so bad to do dmg so I'd say it's a no on arc as well So overall stam sorc, cro and warden - definitely 100% a good choice for this mythic Templar maybe Others - nah
What happened to not liking Curse? 😜 - I know, different build, still nice to see you come around on it. It's a lot of fun lining up burst and hella easy because it goes through dodge.
Opertunity cost. The mythic just doesn't synergize as well with those classes. DK has better things to be doing like ult gen burst downs and Templar in general is really just a one trick pony.
Yeah, my buddy put it on his Templar and sorc and we dueled. I was wearing the traditional setup on my Templar (Deadly, Rally Cry, Balorgh). Nuked him every time. He still hit hard, but I think the classic set bonuses are better as long as you can keep up everything
@@benstephens187 basically because your friend lacks of important buffs from sets he needs to have access for them through skills. Firstly, 30k HP is bare minimum, after Major and Minor Protection + Major and Minor Resolve. In best world he needs Major + Minor Mending, but it's not that important. For offensive buffs of course you need good amount of penetration, cause this mythic don't have any, Major + Minor defile, of course Major Brutality/Sorcery + Major Savajery/Prophecy + Minor Force. In best scenario you really need any source of Major/Minor Courage but it's really hard to get it on most of the classes if you don't have scribing. Also don't forget Major + Minor Berserk. The only way possible for me is playing this mythic on Nightblade or Necromancer (next patch). 2hander front bar and shield back bar. If you don't have this classes, i recommend more regular way like Sea-Serpent Coil + 2pc Nibenay monster from Cyro vendor + 2 5pc sets like Rallying Cry and Wretched Vitality. Basically this setup will have kinda low dmg (more of a nuke setup and then kite/heal/run), but amazing for 1vX
thanks I have a question. Does vampire removes your own health recovery or even recovery that you get from items? Torc gives you health recovery, does it still work or is it also cancelled by vampirism ?
How on earth is your ping stable at 80-100? On a good day mine fluctuates around 140. Also, I saw Torc and number crunched it and immediately thought what you thought. ... Now I just gotta get it.
The damage from those to damage sets was 1334 The mythic gives you 1337 With two damage sets you can still where a monster set like balorgh to boost damage even further and gives penetration I tried farming that ring for a few hours no lead , i work a whole job i dont have time to sit there that long farming and no lead drops lol , is this mythic really worth the farm or is this mythic only really good on certain classes like werewolf, and templar only?
You just focused on one buff the mythic gives. Now you're wearing 3 glass canon sets just to surpass the damage, and lack the sustain/mitigation it gives. Of course it's worth the farm.
The problem with this is you are stuck doing a raw damage build not a crit damage build, i used to love the raw damage for ganking i rand new moon and shield breaker and it was good for a while until gourmads came out
It’s definitely a good mythic but there’s like 600 sets in the game and I hate that ZOS brings out stuff like this instead of reworking some cool oldschool sets.
There has been 0 buff to the drop rate. I have only. 1 lead since its launch and im grinding like an absolute mad man.. im so disappointed with zos for real this time. Never have i been so angry with a mythic. Its so ridiculous how many runs i have done with absolutely no luck.
I almost quit the game over this. I got the first lead in a day, the second 2 days later. Fast forward 4 weeks, and over 350 runs thru, only going to 4 in the first arc. The leads no longer drop in the regular chests. They only drop in the side quests, GW and Marauders. What a slog to get all 5 leads!
Lol, it helps im retired. Still, not happy with zos for stealing a month of my life. For first lead the first day. Next day, I got another. Easy peasy. Fast forward 4 weeks. For what it's worth..... The leads don't drop in the regular chests. I got all mine in the side quests/portals, GW the pilferer and from marauders. I usually only did the first 4 sections of the first arc, then reset and jump back in. It's the quickest and good if you have a relatively weak character like me. I played at least 4 hours a day too. I must have done these runs 400 times. Finally got it, but too tired to play right now. What a slog, way worse than inks lol. Best of luck and don't forget the side portals!
You're doing it wrong. I did it for 3 weeks, one run per night. There are different buffs you can get that helps get you the lead basically, and all the Goblin kills, marauder kills, and unknown portals add up.
I did grind for it week 1. I put it on. But it's behind all my stat builds. Way behind my stat builds. 2k less dmg and 15k less pen. Regen and mitigation is on par tho. Just sad I spent so long to find it's serious mid tier
I don't want to harass content creator, cause he is really cool, but he is wrong. The only thing this mythic lacks is penetration and DK has it with corrosive ult. Basically you can utilize anything with this mythic, even necro on next patch, just keep in mind that you need some wpd/spd from armor and good chunk of penetration. Also if your class has access to major + minor defile (DK and Necro have it) it's insta bonus for pvp
That's not true. Some of the worst people I've PvPed against use Torc. They're just better off with Proc gear because they don't truly know the ins and outs of the class they're on. To be good at Torc, you have to be extremely good at your class, meaning no matter what you ran, you'd be good, and then Torc makes you amazing because no proc conditions. That's it. Bad players are bad players regardless of the mythic.
