I think I went to only one of these kinds of ultra-posh clubs before in my life. It was on a rooftop in Vienna, and it was so posh that absolutely nobody was dancing. Dancing must have been forbidden, because the music was so loud, and that would have naturally been all you could do besides drink. Because of this loud music, we only sat and sipped our 15 euro 1-shot cocktails staring at each other, and then paid and left to go to midnight bowling instead.

but munich scene is not just P1 you know that right? you could go to harry klein, bahnwärter thiel, blitz, rote sonne etc. in fact as someone living in munich for many years, I have never been to P1. no need to see there.

Seeing you in the VIP area has explained to me the source of my trauma. I spent an entire evening in a VIP area at the Oktoberfest. The whole time, looking down at the Geringverdiener partying, while I was with the VIPs, like in the shot of you in the VIP area. The only time I was allowed to have fun was when the TV cameras came around and we had to pretend. The police stopped me on the way home. It was the most fun I had all evening. I have more stories like this. But I do not have the strength to share them. Unless you give me your „watch“.

I’ve only partied in Germany once and it was in Munich. Everyone was dancing and chatting and singing along to the songs. No it wasn’t techno... and It was a really good vibe. Left at 8am super wasted super tired of dancing. You’re right, German guys there are on the hunt. I went alone btw (solo female traveler) and walked up to a group of girls to ask if I could join them. Made loads of new friends. I must’ve been lucky or something.

My man you have to be one hell of an extrovert to do all that in such a pretentious looking club, hats off to you! (My introverted ass would legit melt to the ground if I ever tried that)

Even as an introvert, who's always looking for some quiet place, this looks so boring. But i think that the fact that this place is really crowded at 10 PM is a bad signal, i guesssss.

I like the personailty of Mr RL.He's not too materialistic.Not a snob. But some (only some) Germans can be up their own arse.Especially in the rich parts.Treat every German as an individual.Like some more than others.

The best place to get a beer in Munich is the gas station in Eching. Super cool guys. Might bring their VW with speaker system. 10/10 highly recommend 👍🏻😊

No cocktails is the worst part by far which is exactly why I get at least a half pint of bourbon and drink before I even get inside the club or bar for one. It's a huge saver of money and so long as you just drink some beer and mix it with water every once in a while. You won't be too messed up to where you get kicked out. Even though getting messed up to get kicked out means you had a great time so I'm a little conflicted about that

yeah before we went to Oktoberfest local Germans said that we have to prepare our self by litre or so and ate enough at home. I thought they just made a joke but During train ride I noticed the whole train were drinking and eating. Actually after I saw prices inside I understood why. 13.5 euro per litre near 7 euro per bread and sausage and if u want something from Kitchen u better get rid of this idea

The first and only time I partied in Munich they closed with a waltz and everyone in the room did it! Impressive. I had fun at the Metropole in Berlin too, great music. This was back in the 1980s. Cheers, keep partying
