Started Apex 6 months ago and I've come to realize that the hardest part of movement isn't the mechanics themselves but rather when and how to implement them. Catch my ass wall bouncing out of cover and getting fried just because I can.
You can see his thumb press "Space bar + (B or V I think)" every time he superglides, so he's definitely legit and using the 180 key trick combined with crazy good muscle memory and mechanical skill
i can finally say i hit consistent wall bounces and super glides working on my zipline movement tech and super glide tap strafes lol but yeah idk how yall can say that this doesnt help you in fights because it 100% does
While the movement is insane, I do wonder if he'd be able to do this same caliber of movement if the mouse wheel was restricted from being used as a movement input
Most of the time hes not neo strafing just hitting different types of lurch/tapstrafe/bhop combos 2nd xzylas is more accurate better quality personality etc.
😂config & macro pub stomper who plays 12 hours a day... he's not playing ranked for a reason. He cheats with macros & configs to tap strafe as a crutch & bad aim. Thats why peacekeepers with large reticle are used a lot. Try to tap strafe or superglide with controller inputs, he'd fail at glides all the time.
I love the content from these guys but the intro "Clip number X will totally rock ur socks off" is so annoying to me. The bait for engagement and watch time is wild, respect the hustle but gotta stop with the cringe boys.
Its this kind of movement that kills me with Apex. I cant compete with the pub stompers who do this every match. Im glad the people doing it are supposedly having fun, but when i die to people literally dancing around my head, i stop having fun
Then don't play. It's refreshing for most people to have an FPS with this much mechanical depth. There are plenty of other options if the 1 in 10,000 movement player ruins your day. Long story short get good or get ye gone
It definitely is impressive, assuming it's legit, but I don't know about viability. There's a reason why you don't see Timmy playing like this or anyone in the big scenes, really. Most of the flashy movement is done for the sake of getting that sweet clip for content. Like at: 2:16 And it doesn't really matter how much you bunny hop around, any competent lobby and you'll be supergliding into your death. I'm not saying nothing he did is viable because you can definitely save your own skin using movement or break your opponent's ankles but the latter happens pretty rarely. I'm also not saying he's a bad player by any means. He's not, the aim is insane on this guy. But there's a reason why people call him and others like him pub stompers. That's where they thrive because that's the only setting where you can pull off some wacky shit that only works 1 out of 10 times you try it. Other than that it's all about picking your moments. From the clips you can notice that he doesn't push unless he knows he has the advantage (enemies weak / team backing him up) and I don't doubt the fact that he observes how skilled his opponent is before going for crazier movement out in the open.
@@sovereigndark7792 I think a lot of people do use configs which brings up the question that Boom asked: I wonder how many of these players will start to get smoked with configs being banned. But I think you can definitely achieve a good consistency on superglides.
I dont believe he is legit, he hits 100% of movement tech. Smells like I just went on a journey to find nemo... Fishy fo sho. Fun to watch either way, id love to see a show match on LAN to see if he is legit. But I doubt it.
Its not impressive at all when you can bind everything to just C,one button,i have tested it after all,it takes no skills to put the code in autoexec1 and 2 and do every superglide consistently an any direction
Lemon head actually hits all the required keys to do the movement, I’m sure some ppl do what you are talking about, but lemon does not, he has entire movement tutorials that show him teaching others how to do movement with actual keybinds not just one key. If you would educate yourself instead of just assuming and being wrong you wouldn’t look like such a hater. Rn you look like someone who’s mad because they suck and can’t do this type of movement lol.
Like he literally has a hand cam showing you him pressing all the required keys to do movement and ur still just so bad at apex, and so upset that you can’t do what he can to the point you still trying to say “hE iS pReSsiNg oNe kEy” 🤣
Only reason I hate apex for, non natural movements that kill the game combat. Don’t like things that don’t make sense. It’s the same idea of building shit in fortnight and I would never touch that game.
Lol he literally made configs using his keyboard to to superglide 100% and even got caught using neo strafe cfgs before they were disabled. 😭 take away his configs and he aint shit
Love the vid guys! Btw boom its called lurch strafing the mid air direction change. Mokeysniper and leamonhead himself do some really cool vids on it. Mokey with the technicals of how the game engine allows it and leamon teaching ppl how to be a cracked god wizard omniman
Multiple key binds, scroll wheel w, 180 spin strafe, tap strafe. All are with keybinds. On the controller, try putting in the same button combinations & it wouldn't work. He uses configs & multiple button map changes. Easy to tell.
Idc how skillful this is, its cheesy asf. Pub stomping cuz you can only kill casual players, try it in ranked and you'll get destroyed before even showing up. This is why the game isn't new player friendly.
It can't kill you, but like the guy above me pointed out, I've watched plenty of braindead octante's die because they chose to rush into a fight at a health disadvatage and got one clipped.
