I watched this in a less crowded theater for this movie. I wished i saw it in a crowded theater and hear the female audience’s reactions to that line 😂
I know, I wish it was like what Jodi Benson did in the live action Little Mermaid Edit: Kelly Sheridan said at one of Bronycons that she did that she used to do live action work when she was a teenager (she started voice acting at a young age) but she for some reason didn’t like doing it, she didn’t really give any reason for why she didn’t like it, but I guess some actors prefer it that way.
3:02 I've heard that most of the actors involved in this movie were also dancers because there's something about their profession (just as actors) that makes everything seem posed, even standing still looks like they're posing for something-artificial. When this Ken in the background starts to dance using the SAME POSE he used to stand still, I could see why LOL
Maravillosa película, para mí,los Ken son geniales. Banda sonora, sublime, actrices y actores de sobresaliente. Gran película, gran producción,divertida. Un 10 total👍
I really like the movie. There are so many social commentaries that a 2nd watch and so forth is required. A first watch was so entertaining that I didn’t catch all of them. Also Ryan gosling is just sublime in this movie. I really think he stole the performance cause he was insanely entertaining to watch
I wish the whole barbie movie was a romantic fantasy comedy it didnt offended me as a 34 year old single i hope for a reboot or a animated movie someday
I’m great - Ken stole the show and got the Oscar nomination. I definitely didn’t want to see another girl movie flop. Thank goodness for Ryan. I mean this could have been the next Captain Marvel!
@@everitt161 I haven’t seen Captain Marvel, but you seem really invested. Do you want to talk about it? Is Captain Marvel in the room with us right now?
It was a Marvel Universe movie with an all female cast. Unfortunately the writing and directing left some holes in the story. So it lost a lot of money. I just want to see women succeed and this was suppose to be the super hero movie vehicle that was going to drive the female hero genre and it failed. So when Barbie came out I was happy that it made so much money. Then I realized that Ken stole the whole show. Patriarchy
I only wish the creators had named Margot Robbie's character Classic Barbie instead of Stereotypical Barbie. Stereotypical Barbie is too long of a name, it sounds negative and the Barbie doll Robbie portrayed most closely resembled the original (making her character a, "classic").
I'm such a hetero man, not only did I not realize this movie about the dolly that bored my little sister when she turned seven was made, I would never ever watch this sh*t
@@mc-rn8robut he was the best part..nothing to do with his gender..i find harley quinn to be the best part of suicide squad but she was clearly not the main character there.
I know there’s sexism against women and all… and it must change. But this movie is awful, the message can’t replace the script, the cinematographic quality and all the other relevant aspects that make a good movie. Watching barbie was embarrassing… like seeing some else embarrassment…
Excerpt from courtroom cross examination... "How we survived, it was a miracle". "So, Howie survived?!". "No, I'm afraid we lost Howie the next day". "Over Macho Grande?" "No, I don't think I'll ever get over Macho Grande. Those wounds run pretty deep".
Margot has zero range as an actress...no wonder she wasn't nominated. Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrel and Kate McKinnon were the only good things about this movie.
So you felt absolutely nothing when Margot shed a single tear and said, *"That felt...achy...but...good..."* That scene when Barbie feels humanity for the first time - right after Ken's Century City power trip - meant nothing to you? 😒
A demonic movie that spreads the long-condemned heresies that subordinate men to women. 1 Timothy 2:11-15 "11 Let the woman learn in silence, with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to use authority over the man: but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed; then Eve. 14 And Adam was not seduced; but the woman being seduced, was in the transgression. 15 Yet she shall be saved through childbearing; if she continue in faith, and love, and sanctification, with sobriety."
Watched this movie… TWICE ! 🎬🍿🩷 First time on the day it first premiered in theatres and second time, just yesterday. Barbie came back in cinemas for a short period of time because of the Oscars. I’ll never forgive the misogynistic academy for what they did to Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig. I re-watched Barbie the Movie to boycott Oscars 2024 and stand in solidarity with Margot and Greta. They didn’t deserve to get their nominations snubbed away from them !
