Guy Martin. What an incredible bloke. He has, and makes respect wherever he goes. Massive respect. It is always an amazing pleasure to watch your programs.
Got my hands dirty the other day and I haven't for ages due to different work life nowadays. It was so much fun to build something and get dirty again.
As a blacksmith myself how you handled the swordmaking with the master is one of the most impressive things i have witnessed, such limited vocabulary but you were so in tune even under that pressure, it would be an honour to work besides someone like yourself, truly inspiring. id have melted under that pressure and i know how to do it. keep up the good work. legendary chap.
I totally understand why Guy no longer has the time to race at the TT. What one off experiences he’s having. Wow working that sword was immensely intense but Guy yet again rises to the challenge…..what a top bloke he is. I’m not related to Guy but as a fellow English man living in the Isle of Man, I am immensely proud of him just as if he were my own son.
10:06 I had the exact same model as my second car, cheap as chips, never broke down, easy to fix, and had one of the best heaters in any vehicle I have ever driven, sadly rust got to her and I had to scrap it.
Ive never owned a tv in my life (and I'm past retirement age) but three days ago I chanced on Guy on RU-vid. Now I am officially a Guy Martin FAN!!! What an engaging series of varied (working) adventures. The katana maker up in Hokkaido was just brilliant (as was the making of the Mk 1 Tank with the JCB people in a different series). I just hope the Chernobyl radiation exposure wasn't too risky. What a fantastic ...er...guy!!!! Thanks for helping me to break the tv drought. Appreciated!!!
Thanks Guy Great video 👍👍👍👍👍 My favorites were the Siberian and the Japanese trips. What a special honor for Guy to be allowed to participate in the master sword smiths' making of a katana. Wow! That would be a dream come true for me 💕 And as an old man that had a period of my younger days working in the logging indusry and in the U.S. Forest Service, I can appreciate the camaradery that the siberian loggers showed to Guy 👍💕
What is always apparent watching people like Guy and itchy boots visiting different countries is our governments all want us to hate each other. We mostly get on given half the chance but kindness to strangers and a sense of humour is universal.
Having seen all of those shows and read all of Guy's books, I enjoyed watching this recap of previous shows and also the previously unseen Caspars giving the Lada a once-over. What happened to the Royal Enfield which Guy toured India on? I know he put it in a lockup at the end and said he'd be back for it. Did he ever have it shipped to Grimsby/ Immingham?
Superb to catch up with these. Says he with a now late Father in law from Chongqiing and travelled through many times. Our 2017 visit resulted in an engine made there. Yes it can come back in the luggage as a clean not used item. Guy is just so down to earth. Currently far too COLD for our workshop so having a sort of holiday from lathes and mills. Love David and Lily.
I’m sure there was meant to be a trip returning home back to the U.K. with the bike from India , tbf it’s what peaked my interest in watching the guy Martin tv series’s was amazing content and would love for it to return 😎❤️❤️
Such a down to earth lad . And he's done so many records which shows he exceptionally fit even after all he's spare metal he's had added over the years 😆 he must trigger metal detectors in airports 😆
Very nice my guy from Sam Oates bideford and demi the dog but born in Grimsby moved to Bideford when I was one now I keep it top secret like you'll respect big man
Really wish ch4 had got guy to front the show they did on the restoration of the westminster clock tower rather than the lassie they had who said big ben every 5 minutes just in case you'd forgotten about the bell.
I love watching tv but it's having the free time to watch quality shows like guy's that's my problem. Had no idea his grandad was from Latvia. Always fancied going to the Balkans.
Why don't they have guy Martin visit schools he would certainly live up woodwork and metalwork classes .fire up the enthusiasm of school kids. And Colin furze as well!!
Guy goes without saying is just amazing... but the voice over dude could narrate a local knitting competition and he would have thousands of viewers :-)
Russian fellah in the middle of Siberia: "You're the motorcycle guy?" Guy: "Not really" Me: I think that I have just spotted the humblest guy on the planet.
Love Guys shows since first found him on the Boat he built. Not sure the Siberian Forest fact is right, 2300 sq miles according to google, UK is 93,000 sq miles
Who seen the white when he went into the nuclear site. Rate him for going inside that’s crazy can actually see evidence of radiation on the TV screen. The white dots are the radiation interfering with the CMOS sensor of the camera.
