There will always be friendships and rivals in the nba. Yall act like them dudes wast cool with each other back in the day. The nba been friendly it just now social media shines a brighter light on it
I like giannis as a player and as a person, but he needs to chill and stay humble like he always did. Plus harden is a nice guy who's never doing anything wrong off the court so i didn't like what giannis did this time
Yeah giannis doest have the mentality of goats like michael jordan or kobe bryant those ppl are more chill and can think better than a 7" who just run and dunk
Bro I love how people say they wish the NBA wasn’t so soft when a ref gives a technical for no reason, but as soon as Giannis says any type of trash talk to your boyfriend, y’all get so mad.
@Mysterio yeah the guy who quit on his team became fat and went to strip clubs when his team was practicing over the guy who came from European streets and practices 24-7 almost completely understandable
harden is more skilled and has more basketball iq than the freak. Giannis compared himself to kobe, lebron and MJ. kobe, lebron and MJ plays basketball like its an art. nevertheless, i agree he is like shaq a very dominant player.
Nah both are skilled if giannis isn’t skilled he wouldn’t probably make it to the nba yes harden dribble and shit but giannis is skilled driving to the ring effortless they play different one is dominant in post and a paint beast the other one is a iso dribbler and shooter they different. A slasher paint beast defensive monster or a crafty I guess iso shooter and
And at the same time it's being the most valuable teammate and giannis being as good as he was helped his team be top dogs in the east in a year where the raptors had kawhi. Just saying that giannis did deserve his award even a littlw
@Chikamjibiri MBAKWE Augustine no MPV is MOST VALUABLE PLAYER dont add the team part, Most VALUABLE can be being the best passer on the team even without the scoring for example when Steve Nash got it, being the best scorer, or just best all around player and that season Harden was that look at his numbers that regular season he had a fucking historical scoring season and he didn't only deserve it as a scorer he is a hell of a passer he avg almost 10 assists that season the only area Giannis beat Harden is defense stop saying its about the team casue we've seen it isn't before
@@hulksmash4563 what part is he overrated in hes a great player all around his defense is lacking sometimes but he is one of the greatest scorers of all time dont disrespect a nba player if you dont know anything about how he plays
All Luvv are you shitting me rn. Harden easily has the best step back of all time. It’s literally not close. You can say kemba is better than harden or crazy shit like that but there is no doubt who the step back king is lmao
nah he was trying to pass it to brogdon, but his fingers probably stayed on the ball to long when he released it redirecting the ball towards harden. you can see giannis didn't see harden was there because of tucker guarding him. But idk maybe, maybe not.
I mean I don't hate Giannis but man he needs to calm down with Harden man, both are phenomenal players and humble but there is no reason to do this in my mind Harden plays and handles the ball better than Giannis and shoots better too. Defense could be better and I give that to Giannis and in the end if you are 6'11 and you dunk all the time almoast that doesnt make you a skillfull player that is too easy for you if you are that tall.
@@chuggynation8275 that makes no sense, there are other people in the world who have the same body types as giannis and shaq and you don't see them winning mvp awards...
Wilt chamberlain, Bill Russel, Shaq all these guys are around 7 feet tall and top 10 players ever. Just because you’re tall doesn’t mean you’re automatically amazing you actually have to build skill and athleticism like Giannis
ianschwartz2006 hi So then with that logic it doesn’t require that much skill to be good in general which is not true, players now are more skilled and more all around then ever
MVP in my eyes means who was the most valuable to their teams success. Giannis is by far the most valuable player to his team and his team is successful. No player is more valuable to their teams success than giannis is the the Milwaukee bucks. Basically where would a team be with out this player is how I do it. It would hurt the bucks to lose giannis more than any other team in the league losing their best player
The only somewhat bad thing about this is giannis elbowing harden in the face and harden saying giannis has no skill. Giannis definitely hit him in the face on purpose he looked at him and did it, and he definitely has skill to play in the nba look at his awards. Look at his highlights. He puts in a lot of effort. This is coming from a huge bucks fan so I might be biased but still. Giannis has a ton of talent.
Bruh I swear everyone in the comments is hating on Giannis sure he may have done the wrong thing but basketball is a competitive game where you try to beat the other team so beef is expected.
Mister Chazman they play each other two times a year, that's only personal, but if you win the MVP award, you don't have to prove something but Giannis began it all
@@fullmetalflame4683 this is a team sport, the best TEAM wins. And if other teams have injuries like this year then its easier of course. Anyway You would not say this if kd hit that 3 pointer in game 7 but his foot was on the line, that is the difference between winning or losing a foot on the line. You cant say that a player is better because he may win, there are 1000 things that can happen ( giannis didnt play the last games with the hawks because he got injured, his team won 2 games without him! in this case 99% of teams lose without their best player but they won, in that case you would probably say that he is a loser because he has 0 rings 😂) Saying "he is going to get a ring" so he is better is too simple. Anyway i think he had a great playoff run, especially in the finals, and that he is getting near harden, today i think harden is still better.
James Harden -3pts -Handles -Passing -Game IQ -Field Vision -Scoring -Post-up defense -Free Throws Giannis Antetounkempo -Unassisted Dunking -Close up defender Is there anything else? No cap tho they both are phenomenal players
Other way around, people hate on Giannis for no reason. He literally worked his off too be one of the best in league, & critics wanna say he needs too be humble.🤦🏽♀ He just thrives off of competition which is James Harden.
Let’s be real harden has better handles, can shoot nearly anywhere and while some of his defense may be lacking his main job is to get steals which he is pretty good at. And if he was as tall as giannas (sry I spelled that wrong) he’d be as good good as Kevin Durant maybe better but we Giannas and put him at hardens height there would be a very low chance of him being in the NBA They’re both very good players don’t get me wrong but if we’re talking skill Hardens easily beats giannas cause the best thing about giannas is that he’s big and that’s about it tbh
I see what u say but if he got taller, what guarantee does he have that he’s handles and shot will remain same? Shorter players are better than taller players at stealing, shooting handling
This is like like saying if Shaq or any big men in history was harden height they’ll be trash..... people act like every 7 ft guy in the league is on giannis level ! EVERY TEAM HAS A 6-10-7 FOOTER. STOP W THE HEIGHT BS GIANNIS IS OBVIOUSLY TALENTED. YOU DONT GO FROM AVERAGING 6 points a game to 26-27 WITHOUT PURE SKILL AND TALENT STOP THE BS.
lil noda I did at the bottom that they’re both very good players but I explicitly said that if we are talking about SKILL harden wins cuz he has better handles a better 3 point shot a better ft percentage and has a higher average points per game While Giannis is a big dude who knows hot to dunk really well Now let me repeat THEY’RE BOTH REALLY GOOD but at the end of the day harden is the better player using actual stats now if you’re feelings are hurt by this then continue thinking Giannis is better just know you would be lying to yourself
-_--_- you’re right so his play will probably change a lot but he could also be a new Kevin Durant who can dunk and shoot wherever he wants plus I doubt his handles will completely go away sense that such a vital part to his play style
I think the skills of Power Forwards and Centers are highly disregarded. Yes, Harden skills as a point guard are great: his jump shot, his long range shooting, his dribbling and passing, etc. But Gianni's skills are great for his position bas well: the way he cuts trough the paint avoiding contact (he is not like some people think like Saq pure bullying in the paint), the eurostep at full speed, passing to the sides to open teammates, his fakes and pumps and spins in the paint. This guy is a two times mvp and now an NBA champion and finals mvp. I think these two are quite paired regarding skills, in their respective positions
Why do people think “passing the ball” and “giving assists” are the same? Harden give assists, Butler (for example) pass the ball. The difference is that Harden is a selfish player who doesn’t know how to play in a team. Too bad for LeBron that Harden had to end on his team
@@funkydpalomares2238 Are you Stupid, blind or just don't watch ball. HARDEN ISN'T SELFISH YOU IDIOT. When he was with Rockets the team was most effective and efficient running the ball in his hands most of the time and him shooting the most. I laugh when dummies like you used to say MJ was selfish. Fact is MJ was best scorer and most efficient player on the Bulls which is why he should shoot the most. Same for Harden on Houston, bc Clint Capella isn't going to score 60. No other star could have done what Harden did with Houston taking g leaguers to contender status every year. With the exception of LBJ.
I know this is old but after watching this vid I lost all my respect for giannis. He started this beef and really hates harden for some reason. He said that harden doesn't pass the ball when he's the best passer and assister. People also say that he doesn't have defense when he's literally one of the best stealers and can block shots too. Harden is so chill and humble I really like him and I never get why people hate him like bruhh
Do you know what humble means? You say Harden is so humble but this video has so many clips of him talking about how he’s better than everyone. He’s saying others couldn’t do what he did, talking about how much he deserved the MVP over Giannis. He said none of them can mess with him or are on his level when it comes to basketball. He talks about how Giannis has no skill. I agree that the beef is definitely Giannis’ fault but you can’t say Harden doesn’t put energy into it either. Giannis has at least been seen complimenting Harden at times, while Harden only talks bad about Giannis, and didn’t even shake hands with anyone after the playoff series.
Plus Giannis didn’t even start the beef, it was Harden. Giannis was just the one to throw a direct shot instead of a subtle one. This started because Harden was saying that Giannis didn’t deserve MVP and he did, of course Giannis will get somewhat offended. He’s never even said remotely one nice thing about Giannis this whole time, he’s only talked about how undeserving and unskilled he is.
You call Harden the humble one and Giannis the hater yet this whole thing started from Harden saying how much more deserving he was of the MVP. While Giannis literally said in an interview that he would never say he’s better than Harden. He also said James was the hardest player to guard in the NBA. All of Giannis’ shots were during the all-star break meaning they were probably jokes but Harden is literally saying how much he’s better than Giannis and how Giannis has no skill.
@@spifro9183 Idk why I didn't see your reply until now lol anyways I never knew that harden was like that I just made it based of what I watched of him but ig I don't know the full story
Giannis is a good player, but he should respect Harden, the dude is one of the all time great shooting guards + one heck of an offensive threat. I hope Harden teaches him a lesson though in the upcoming playoffs between Nets and Bucks. Nets in 5.
