Hello? You didn't include his best scene. The one where Jack wants to break into Nancy's house and he pits Jonathan and Kenneth against each other. He has them try to squeeze through a wire hanger... kenneth wins, and jack puts his hand on Jonathan and says, "you sicken me". Classic!

He is one of the most competent (Kenneth couldn't fill his shoes for one day) and yet devoted and loyal secretaries on TV. Jack doesn't know how lucky he is. Poor Jonathan. His character really brings another perspective to 30 Rock. Without him, the show would be flatter. The actor nailed the character perfectly.

Jonathan's actor was not doing just this show at the time. He still showed up whenever he could, but he definitely had a lot stuff going on while 30 rock was on.

I like when Jack forces him to have an Indian accent to make it seem like 30 Rock is a much more diverse place. And Jonathan says something like, "I'm from Calabasas." Also when Jack and Elisa's couple name is "Jalisa" and Jonathan asks "What about Jackonathan?" :P

Oh that's definitely a thing imo! Theres even that episode where she accidentally screws over the woman she hires as a guest writer due to her internalized misogyny. Liz is hard headed and often inconsiderate, but usually means to do well and is highly market-driven. I think, anyway

I believe this was a live episode - there was a West coast and east coast one. I think you can see both on Hulu now? But each one had some changes. I think there are actually two episodes that did this

No. They did the show live twice that night. One for the West Coast and one for the East Coast. They changed the joke and a few other things.

@@RonnieR29 I was wondering why Dr Spacemen's musical numbers were different, I remember watching the DVD & screaming with laughter at the "Oops I've finished, Call yourself a cab!" Then it came to streaming services & I was excited for the episode & noticed changes & they weren't for the better, even his musical numbers were switched out for less funny/risque ones.
