The Best of Jonathan (The Goes Wrong Show, Series 2) 

I like to think it worked out for Greg that being cut out of the earlier episodes gave him more time to practice juggling and riding a unicycle.

I’m so glad he finally got his moment… although it didn’t end well… but he is very talented!

His misfortune was given to him for cheating on Sandra in Peter Pan and being mean to the Crocodile (who everyone liked)

High marks for his spot-on impressions of the rest of the cast during Ensemble. I didn't even consciously realize on first viewing that I knew exactly who was supposed to have done what.

Jonathan did what Sandra did in series one a dance that requires more than one person and he did it really well

Poor Jonathan, he had to do his one-man circus performance by himself without the rest of the team to help him even though he deserved this moment. Because since The Goes Wrong Show, Series 2 Jonathan have been ignore a lot and been treated like an outcast.

What surprises me the most is that you found more than four minutes and a half of Jonathan time on screen! I never thought he would make it that long! Also, what the Mischef Company (or the Cornwell Drama Society) really need to do is Jonathan's Circus scene, but together. I'm sure it would have been grandiose and I need to see it for real!

Maybe we need an episode where Jonathan is the Lead Actor...

I wonder how the actor for Jonathan didn't get dizzy during that scene when he's spinning. There must have been a technique to not get dizzy because that went insanely fast lol.

We all love johnathan

I love his circus bit, because it finally showcases that he IS authentically talented... but I can't help but laugh after the mime bit... because the sign falls and leaves it reading "VILE"... as though his part of the show is vile. It isn't obviously... but that does seem like the kind of joke someone would play on him. Greg has to be the chillest one in the cast to go thru all that.

Something tells me that they kept giving Jonathan minor roles or screwing things up for him purposely as punishment for cheating on Sandra and messing with Annie.

All things considering he did a good job with the phone booth car and the water song

Play That Goes Wrong/Murder at Haversham Manor: he plays a dead body Peter Pan Goes Wrong: only time he gets a major role, and he spends a good portion of it unconscious The Spirit of Christmas: gets stuck in the chimney The Pilot (Not The Pilot): fails to remove his Winston Churchill mask, also gets “exposed” A Trial To Watch: his head appears in the courtroom for a second but then gets pushed out; he also plays a news reporter on a TV, but it glitches. The Lodge: can’t open the door Harper’s Locket: can’t open any of the doors; gets hit in the crotch with a croquet mallet the one time he actually opens a door 90 Degrees: takes two really nasty falls The Nativity: spun around really fast and stripped naked in the process (he appears multiple times throughout the episode, a first) Summer Once Again: Robert keeps cutting him off The Most Lamentable: his helmet muffles his voice, also gets electrocuted, gets hit in the crotch by a camera after his armor becomes magnetized (due to the electrocution), gets trapped in the Iron Maiden There Is No Escape: gets stuck in the phone booth Drama Festival part 1: gets cut off by Robert (again), gets stuck in the faucet during Max’s “kitchen sink drama”, gets cut off by Vanessa, gets knocked unconscious by a microphone during his role as the Stag Drama festival part 2: his microphone cuts off during his lines in Sandra’s radio play, he is censored throughout his whole appearance during Annie’s comedy (because his character was naked)… and then he finally gets his moment! Poor Jonathan.

I like to think Sandra secretly sabotages Jonathan's part as revenge for cheating on her in Peter Pan Goes Wrong.

My personal theory is that Jonathan was dropped from more high-profile roles because he was such a dick to Sandra during the course of Cornley's production of Peter Pan. Despite his generally scumbaggy nature during the show (bullying Max, getting off with Annie while he was with Sandra, and his air of pompousness), the company allowed him to stay on, but only in more minor roles. He has, however, changed his ways, but Cornley haven't seen that yet.

I bet that naked man from Annie's play is Jonathan again

As of this season (especially that Christmas scene) has everyone appeared in underwear or less? It does seem like a good way to embarrass the Cornley cast.

To be fare, Jonathan deserves it all, he cheated on Sandra afterall
