Fantastic DJ who was responsible for the release of bohemian rhapsody and an unbeatable comedian who loved making us laugh. All in the best possible taste.
I used to sit & watch Kenny with my dad ..but my mum couldn't stand him..made it more funny somehow..he took on some great characters 👌..they were the day of proper TV entertainment!!
Kenny was part of my past and all of his shows was very impossible not to laugh at. Still as funny and mad outrageous ridiculous crazy bonkers but great brilliant very funny entertainment. Away from the camera he did have a very tuff hard life. Crazy Kenny Everett in a very good way. This one was and is for Adults only with Reg Prescott doing his madness way on D I Y. I like when he says are those my fingers Kevin. Not recommended for children. A classic.
In the 1950s and early 1960s we used to watch Barry Bucknall’s DIY projects on TV with the expectation of mistakes and accidents which would be edited out in programs today. I wonder whether he was the inspiration for Reg Prescott. 🤔
Fucking so funny I was 18 when his first shows went out. Jesus Captain Kremen and his trusty sidekick. On being presented with yet another award for saving the world was asked would you like them mounted, No holding hands will do. Jesus i fucking laughed out loud. Brilliant
Loved Kenny. I can't help thinking that this character is loosely based on Mike Smith in " jobs around the house and garden " a serious diy programme where the presenter always seemed ( to me ) to be under the influence of drink.
